Overview
The Galaxy S10 Plus is a budget phone from Samsung, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 95 (about $135), up to about JOD 115 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its sharp, bright display, and its vivid OLED display. Its chipset is entry-level (44/100) — for messaging, browsing and video; heavy gaming is not its territory.
Performance-index rank: #87 of 342 Samsung phones we list.
Why consider it?
The cheapest way onto a curved high-resolution AMOLED: a 6.4-inch Quad HD+ panel at 522ppi, three rear cameras with dual OIS including a main sensor with a switchable F1.5/F2.4 aperture, a dual front camera, a 4100mAh battery and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader.
Who it suits
Someone who wants 2019 flagship-grade screen and camera hardware for the smallest sum on this list, and uses a phone for calls, photos and browsing rather than anything demanding.
Who should look elsewhere
Not for anyone who needs a phone that stays inside an update window, and not for anyone used to 120Hz smoothness - the difference is immediate.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
The S10+ occupies the third column of Samsung's 2019 announcement: a curved 6.4-inch 19:9 Dynamic AMOLED at Quad HD+ and 522ppi, with an explicit note that the default resolution is Full HD+ and can be switched to WQHD+ in Settings - a detail that explains why two phones with identical spec sheets can look different in the hand. The battery is 4100mAh typical, memory runs 8GB or 12GB with 128GB or more of storage and a card slot to 512GB, the launch OS was Android 9, the fingerprint reader is ultrasonic, and the whole S10 line carries IP68.
The cameras are the strongest card at this price. There are three at the back on dual OIS: a 12MP telephoto at 45 degrees, a 12MP main whose aperture physically switches between F1.5 and F2.4, and a 16MP ultra-wide at 123 degrees. The front is a pair, a 10MP Dual Pixel AF camera alongside an 8MP RGB depth sensor. That switchable aperture in particular is a piece of hardware Samsung stopped fitting after this generation.
The connectivity row is unusually complete for a phone of this age: 802.11ax Wi-Fi, LTE Cat.20 rated to 2.0Gbps down, and stereo speakers tuned by AKG with Dolby Atmos.
Two notes for a second-hand purchase. Samsung names no processor, printing a 7nm configuration and an 8nm configuration side by side and stating that they differ by market and mobile operator, while its Levant support catalogue lists model SM-G975F under the Galaxy S10+ name. And no charging wattage is published for this phone at all, so the figure recorded on our sheet is not Samsung's number and should not be used to compare charging speeds.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Galaxy A16 5G — The same money (≈ 95 JD) buys a current Samsung with a 6.7-inch 90Hz screen, a 5000mAh battery and 5G. It scores 42 on our spec index against 44 here and the camera is far simpler, but its name appears on Samsung's quarterly security-update list today and the S10+ does not. - Poco X4 Pro 5G — The same price (≈ 95 JD) from 2022: a 6.67-inch 120Hz screen, a 5000mAh battery and a spec index of 46 against 44 - newer and longer-winded, in exchange for giving up the curved high-resolution panel and the optical zoom. (95 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
If screen and camera are what you are paying for, ≈ 95-≈ 115 JD is little money for a curved Quad HD+ panel and three lenses on dual OIS. But the limit here is neither price nor performance: this is a February 2019 phone that has dropped off Samsung's security tables, and nothing about how you use or service it puts it back on.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 4,100 mAh — a mid-size capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 15W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: AMOLED 2K, 6.4-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 12+12+16 MP (3 lenses) plus a 10 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- A curved 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED at Quad HD+ and 522ppi, with Samsung noting that the default resolution is FHD+ and can be raised to WQHD+ in Settings
- Three rear cameras with dual OIS - a 12MP main with a switchable F1.5/F2.4 aperture, a 12MP telephoto and a 16MP 123-degree ultra-wide - plus a dual 10MP + 8MP depth front camera
- A 4100mAh battery, 8GB of RAM, a microSD slot to 512GB, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and the S10 line's IP68 rating
Cons
- The S10 line was announced in February 2019 on Android 9, and Samsung's current security-update list does not reach back to that generation at all
- Samsung publishes no wired charging wattage for this model; the one wattage in the release, 25W, is printed against the Galaxy S10 5G
- The S10 spec table states no refresh rate whatsoever, so do not expect anything like 120Hz motion
