Choosing a Camera Phone in Jordan (October 2026)

The sorting tool below uses main-camera resolution, camera count, front-camera resolution and our chipset index. It does not distinguish telephoto from macro lenses or measure image quality. Start with the pictures you take, then examine lens details and comparisons before choosing. We ranked the top 10 out of the 3625 phones we list, by camera hardware: sensor resolution and lens count — a ranking from published specs and our catalog prices, not hands-on testing — edition October 2026.

Choose for the pictures you take

People, movement and indoor light

Ask for a demonstration or samples from the exact phone in conditions like yours. Look at moving faces, skin tones and the delay after pressing the shutter. Selected promotional images do not answer every question, and our index does not measure these results.

Distant subjects

Read the focal length and zoom type for each lens. For example, Xiaomi documents a 115mm lens on the 15T Pro and a 75–100mm lens on the 17 Ultra. Those framing differences matter more here than adding megapixels. Optical zoom alone does not guarantee better night pictures.

Before paying a premium

Compare the same subject from the same position, with similar settings. Inspect original files where possible rather than compressed messaging copies. If the difference is not useful in your actual pictures, consider putting that money toward storage you need or more suitable warranty terms.

Best camera phone by budget

Why these picks?

The ranking above is drawn from the 82 phones with an observed local price (of 94 catalog phones with this strength). It sorts by camera hardware: sensor resolution and lens count — it is not a verdict that one phone is best for everyone.

Honor 600 Pro — #1 in our sort observed price for the 512GB variant (new): JOD 502 on 30 September 2026

Who it is for: Someone who uses zoom often and wants to compare lens coverage and battery capacity before buying. Handle the phone and decide whether 512GB matters to you; we have not measured a day of battery use.

The practical advantage: 3.5x optical zoom from a 50MP periscope lens with OIS — real reach, not a digital crop

The trade-off or purchase consideration: A 6.57-inch, 120Hz screen: compare the size and settings you need rather than treating refresh rate as a gaming guarantee.

A named alternative: Xiaomi 15T Pro — At JOD 504 (estimate), it is JOD 2 more expensive. Compare the variants before deciding: 256GB+ versus 512GB storage, 5,500 versus 7,000 mAh, and Dimensity 9400+ versus Snapdragon 8 Elite. These are specification differences, not measured performance or battery life. full analysis ›

Honor 400 Pro — #2 in our sort observed price for the 256GB variant (new): JOD 372 on 30 September 2026

Who it is for: Anyone chasing maximum specs per dinar: heavy gaming, varied photography with zoom, and large storage without paying for a higher tier.

The practical advantage: 512 GB of storage included — very rare in this band

The trade-off or purchase consideration: A previous-generation flagship chip (8 Gen3, not 8 Elite) — a gap that will show in the heaviest future games

A named alternative: Xiaomi 15T Pro — JOD ≈ 132 more: the newer Dimensity 9400+ (91/100) and a 144 Hz panel — but 256 GB instead of 512 GB. full analysis ›

Xiaomi 17 Ultra — #3 in our sort observed price for the 512GB variant (new): JOD 839 on 30 September 2026

Who it is for: Suited to someone who keeps a phone four or five years and wants one device for heavy gaming and constant photography without ever thinking about storage, thanks to the 512GB tier.

The practical advantage: 16GB RAM and 512GB storage at the observed 839 — no need to step up to a larger tier

The trade-off or purchase consideration: A large body and 6.9-inch screen: try one-handed use and pocket fit before buying.

A named alternative: Xiaomi 17 Pro — At JOD 949 (estimate), it is JOD 110 more expensive. Compare the variants before deciding: 256GB+ versus 512GB+ storage, 6,300 versus 6,000 mAh, and Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5 versus Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen5. These are specification differences, not measured performance or battery life. full analysis ›
