Overview
The Honor 300 Ultra is an upper mid-range phone from Honor, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 479 (about $675) — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: ultra-fast 100W charging, and its sharp, bright display. Its chipset is in the strong tier (88/100 on our spec-based index) — on paper a fit for heavy daily use and most games.
Performance-index rank: #11 of 234 Honor phones we list.
Why consider it?
The only phone in the 300 family with a periscope: Honor lists a 50MP f/3.0 periscope telephoto with optical stabilisation next to a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, a quad-curved 6.78-inch panel and 100W wired plus 80W wireless charging - sold in China only.
Who it suits
Someone who wants long-reach zoom from a single handset and is comfortable importing a China-market unit after checking its bands.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone trying to spend less: the Honor 300 Pro carries the same chip, panel, battery and charging for ≈ 80 less.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
The 300 Ultra sits at the top of a three-phone family, and Honor's own specification tables show the distance between it and the 300 Pro is far narrower than the naming suggests. Both run the same processor: a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with a Cortex-X4 core at 3.0GHz and Adreno 750 graphics, a point Honor confirms in a footnote saying that chip is used on the 300 Pro and 300 Ultra. Both use the same panel, a quad-curved 6.78-inch AMOLED at 2700x1224 and 437ppi with a claimed 4000-nit local peak. Both quote 5300mAh typical (5170mAh rated), 100W wired charging and 80W wireless, and both measure 163.8 x 75.3 x 8.2mm at roughly 199g.
Three published items separate the Ultra. The first and most important is the 50MP f/3.0 periscope telephoto with optical stabilisation, which is why digital zoom is quoted at 100x here against 50x on the Pro. The second is a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor in place of an optical one. The third is Giant Rhino cover glass with an SGS drop certificate, joined by circularly polarised display technology and a higher TUV eye-comfort tier than the Pro carries.
The rest of the camera set is a 50MP f/1.95 main with OIS and a 12MP autofocusing ultrawide, with a 50MP f/2.1 selfie camera that records 4K. Storage comes in two configurations only: 12GB with 512GB, and 16GB with 1TB.
The decisive point for a buyer in Jordan is distribution: the whole 300 line is a China launch, so it arrives through import channels.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Poco F7 Ultra — At the same ≈ 479, the Poco F7 Ultra brings a Snapdragon 8 Elite - a generation newer than the Ultra's chip - with an equal 5300mAh battery and a higher spec index, 92 against 88; its 50+50+32 back has no periscope lens, though. (479 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›
- Redmi K80 Ultra — The Redmi K80 Ultra at ≈ 479 leaps to a 7410mAh battery and a 6.83-inch screen, but pays for it with a 50+8+2 camera arrangement that offers no real optical zoom at all. (479 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
If long zoom is the single reason you would pay ≈ 479 rather than ≈ 399, the Ultra earns the gap, since it is the only member of the family with a periscope lens; on any other reading the Pro is the smarter buy. Either way this is a China-launch model, so bands and warranty routing have to be settled on the actual handset first.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 5,300 mAh — a large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 100W — among the fastest around (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: AMOLED 1.5K, 6.78-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 50+50+50 MP (3 lenses) plus a 50 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- A 50MP f/3.0 periscope telephoto with optical stabilisation - Honor's own page footnote states the periscope is supported on the 300 Ultra alone.
- 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reading plus Giant Rhino cover glass that Honor credits with an SGS five-star drop certificate; neither appears on the 300 Pro sheet.
- 6.78-inch AMOLED at 2700x1224 running up to 120Hz, with 3840Hz PWM dimming and a TUV certificate for circularly polarised display.
Cons
- The third rear camera is a 12MP autofocusing ultrawide, not a third 50MP sensor.
- China-market only: Honor's global phone range jumps from the 200 series to the 400 series with no 300 series in it.
- Everything separating it from the 300 Pro comes down to three parts - periscope, fingerprint reader, cover glass - while chip, screen, battery and charging are identical.
