Overview

The Honor X60 is a lower mid-range phone from Honor, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 175 (about $245) — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.

Its main highlights: its sharp, bright display, and its vivid OLED display. Its chipset is basic (38/100) — calls, WhatsApp and light browsing, as a first or backup phone.

Performance-index rank: #111 of 234 Honor phones we list.

Why consider it?

The X60 shares its main camera with the X60 Pro - one 108MP sensor at f/1.75 - plus the same 8MP selfie camera and the same UFS 3.1 storage tiers. The big split is the screen: a 6.8-inch TFT LCD at 2412x1080 and 120Hz, alongside a Dimensity 7025-Ultra and a 5800mAh battery, at ≈ 175.

Who it suits

A buyer after a large battery, roomy storage and simple point-and-shoot photography who does not rank panel technology at the top of the list.

Who should look elsewhere

Not for anyone moving across from an AMOLED phone, and not for anyone who shoots video above 1080p.

Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence

HONOR's table for this phone differs sharply from what our record held, and the detail is worth spelling out. The chip is a Dimensity 7025-Ultra, two A78 cores at 2.5GHz with six A55 cores at 2.0GHz and BXM-8-256 graphics - not the Snapdragon 4 we had listed. The display is a 6.8-inch TFT LCD at 2412x1080, up to 120Hz, quoted at 16.7 million colours rather than AMOLED. The battery reads 5800mAh typical and 5700mAh rated, charging at 35W. As for the camera, there is one: 108MP at f/1.75, on published specification the very sensor HONOR fits to the X60 Pro, except that video here stops at 1080p where the Pro reaches 4K. The remaining gaps between the two are plain on paper: a side fingerprint reader here against an in-display one there, a single speaker against a stereo pair, 2412x1080 against 2700x1224, and 35W against 66W. Decide between them on photography alone and the cheaper phone gives you the same picture. HONOR also markets two-metre drop resistance and wet-finger touch for this one, yet publishes no numerical IP rating as it did for the X60i. Finally, the model surfaces only on the Chinese site, so any unit here arrived by import - check the firmware it runs and who will repair it before buying.

Alternatives worth comparing

  • Galaxy A73 5G — Four rear cameras rather than one, on a Snapdragon 778G, and a model sold worldwide unlike the X60 - set against a smaller battery and more years on the clock since launch. (175 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›
  • Motorola Edge 40 — A 144Hz screen and a Dimensity 8020 with two rear lenses, so more speed and a smoother panel, paid for with a 4400mAh battery and a smaller body. (175 JOD · estimate)

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above

Looking for long battery life, plenty of storage and a 108MP sensor for the least money? This does the job around ≈ 175 and saves you the Pro premium for a camera the two share. What you will live with daily is that TFT LCD panel, most obvious in dark scenes and in direct midday sun.

What does that mean in plain words?

Chipset: Snapdragon 4 Gen2 — basic tier (38/100): calls, WhatsApp and light browsing.
Battery: 5,800 mAh — a very large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 35W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: AMOLED 1.5K, 6.78-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 50+2 MP (2 lenses) plus a 8 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • The same rear sensor HONOR lists for the pricier X60 Pro - 108MP at f/1.75 - so if the camera is your only reason to choose, the cheaper of the two covers it
  • 5800mAh typical and 5700mAh rated, with 35W charging from an 11V/3.2A adapter, and HONOR's published claim of steady capacity after four years
  • Configurations up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage, in a 7.88mm body weighing 189 grams

Cons

  • The panel is TFT LCD with 16.7 million colours - the only one of the three without AMOLED
  • Video is capped at 1080p despite the 108MP sensor, and no second rear lens appears in the table
  • A side-mounted fingerprint reader rather than an in-display one, no stereo speakers listed, no published IP rating, and no global page for the model

Note: Unverified reference estimate (derived from launch pricing and comparable phones) — a starting point for negotiation, not a confirmed price. Specs come from official manufacturer announcements and the locally available variant may differ slightly; the indices are computed from specs and we have not tested the phone ourselves. USD equivalents use the official peg.
Specification ambiguity: Some spec fields on this page (battery_mah, chip, ip_rating, rear_cam, screen_in, screen_type) could not be matched to the manufacturer's own page — either the maker does not publish them, publishes a different figure, or the name covers more than one variant. Treat them as unconfirmed. Spotted an error? Let us know.
