Overview

The iPhone 11 Pro is a lower mid-range phone from Apple, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 189 (about $265), up to about JOD 219 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.

Its main highlights: its vivid OLED display. Its chipset is entry-level (51/100) — for messaging, browsing and video; heavy gaming is not its territory.

Performance-index rank: #31 of 46 Apple phones we list.

Why consider it?

There is one clear reason to buy this phone today: a triple camera with a real optical telephoto, at an estimated ≈ 189 JD rising to ≈ 219 JD for larger storage.

Who it suits

Someone who photographs a lot and wants an optical zoom range (2x in, 2x out), Night mode and dual optical stabilisation, and does not care about 5G.

Who should look elsewhere

Anyone who needs 5G, or wants a large screen for video; Apple lists no 5G bands for this model, and the display is 5.8 inches.

Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence

What separates the iPhone 11 Pro from cheaper phones of its own generation sits entirely on its back. Apple lists three 12MP cameras: Ultra Wide at f/2.4 and 120 degrees, Wide at f/1.8 and Telephoto at f/2.0, with 2x optical zoom in, 2x optical zoom out, digital zoom to 10x, dual optical stabilisation on the Wide and Telephoto, and Night mode. The telephoto in particular is what no alternative at this money lists, and a hardware lens is not replaced by digital cropping.

The body around that system holds up: a 5.8-inch OLED at 2436 by 1125 and 458 ppi, 800 nits typical and 1200 in HDR, and IP68 to four metres. Note that this is shallower than the six metres Apple quotes for its 2020 models, and that Apple states in all cases that resistance is not a permanent condition and decreases with wear.

The counterweight is plainly written: there is no 5G. The network tables on Apple's page list LTE only. Alongside that sits a 64GB base capacity, which sits awkwardly with a camera system meant to be used.

One last note about the box: Apple's page still lists the 2019 contents, EarPods and an 18W adapter, but a unit bought today after years in circulation may well arrive without those accessories. Ask what is in the box rather than assuming, and ask for the battery health figure before paying.

Alternatives worth comparing

  • OnePlus Nord CE5 — The same money (≈ 189 JD, an estimated price with us) buys a 2025 handset with a Dimensity 8350 Apex, a 7100 mAh battery and a 6.77-inch 120Hz screen; it wins on performance and endurance by a wide margin, but its spec sheet lists no telephoto lens. (189 JOD · estimate)
  • Realme 13 Pro — At the same price (≈ 189 JD), a 2024 phone with a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, a 5200 mAh battery and a 6.7-inch 120Hz panel, sitting at roughly the same place on our spec index - the real difference is that it is five years newer and has 5G, with no telephoto lens. Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above

It makes sense as the cheapest route to an optical telephoto and Night mode inside Apple's ecosystem, for someone who spends most of the day on Wi-Fi. It stops making sense for a heavy mobile-data user or anyone planning to keep the phone for years, because the missing 5G is built into the hardware. The honest limit: our price is an estimate rather than a verified figure, we have not handled this unit, and the single biggest variable - the health of a 2019 battery - appears on no spec sheet, so ask to see the percentage in Settings before paying.

What does that mean in plain words?

Chipset: Apple A13 Bionic — entry level (51/100) for messaging, browsing and video; not aimed at heavy gaming.
Battery: 3,046 mAh — a relatively small capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 20W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: OLED FHD+, 5.8-inch — an OLED panel (true blacks, higher contrast than LCD).
Camera: 12+12+12 MP (3 lenses) plus a 12 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Three 12MP cameras - Ultra Wide f/2.4 at 120 degrees, Wide f/1.8 and Telephoto f/2.0 - with 2x optical zoom in, 2x optical zoom out, digital zoom to 10x, Night mode and dual optical stabilisation; no alternative at this money lists a telephoto lens at all.
  • A 5.8-inch OLED at 2436 by 1125 and 458 ppi, 800 nits typical and 1200 nits for HDR, with IP68 rated to four metres for 30 minutes.
  • Named on Apple's iOS 27 device list published 14 September 2026, so a 2019 body is still taking a new operating system.

Cons

  • No 5G whatsoever: Apple's page lists LTE, GSM and UMTS bands only, with no n-bands anywhere.
  • The base unit is 64GB, and a larger tier takes the figure to ≈ 219 JD - tight storage for anyone who actually intends to use these cameras.
  • Apple quotes 18 hours of video playback for the phone as it was new in 2019, and publishes no mAh capacity and no refresh rate, so there is no reference number against which to judge a used cell today.

Note: Unverified reference estimate (derived from launch pricing and comparable phones) — a starting point for negotiation, not a confirmed price. Specs come from official manufacturer announcements and the locally available variant may differ slightly; the indices are computed from specs and we have not tested the phone ourselves. USD equivalents use the official peg.
Specification ambiguity: Some spec fields on this page (battery_mah, charge_w, ram_gb, refresh_hz) could not be matched to the manufacturer's own page — either the maker does not publish them, publishes a different figure, or the name covers more than one variant.
