Overview
The Nubia RedMagic 10S Pro is an upper mid-range phone from Nubia, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 589 (about $830), up to about JOD 699 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its big 7,050 mAh battery, and ultra-fast 80W charging. Its chipset sits in the top tier (95/100 on our spec-based index) — the class usually chosen for heavy gaming, video editing and intensive use.
Performance-index rank: #2 of 59 Nubia phones we list.
Why consider it?
A phone built around physical gaming hardware rather than a software promise: a turbo fan inside the chassis rated at 23,000 RPM, two shoulder triggers with a 520 Hz touch sampling rate, a 6.85-inch 144 Hz screen that samples touch at up to 2,500 Hz, a 7,050 mAh battery with 80 W charging, and a 3.5 mm headphone jack that is still there.
Who it suits
Someone who games every day and wants real side buttons, active cooling and a wired headset, and for whom the camera is not the first priority.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who wants a light one-handed phone, an optical telephoto lens, or a published water and dust rating from the manufacturer.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
Gaming phones are usually sold on a promise a spec sheet cannot settle, so it is worth sticking to what RedMagic itself publishes and stopping there. The chip is the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version, which pushes the Oryon cores to 4.47 GHz, paired with a co-processor RedMagic calls RedCore R3 Pro. The panel is a BOE Q9+ AMOLED measuring 6.853 inches at 2688x1216 in a 20:9 ratio, running up to 144 Hz, rated at 2,000 nits maximum brightness with full DCI-P3 coverage and a stated colour accuracy below Delta-E 1.
What separates this model from anything else at the same money is not a number on the sheet but physical parts: a turbo fan spinning at 23,000 RPM inside the body, a 12,000 mm2 vapor chamber, a composite Liquid Metal 2.0 layer and an aerospace-aluminium air duct. On top of that sit two shoulder triggers sampling at 520 Hz, and a screen that samples touch at up to 2,500 Hz, dropping to 960 Hz when several fingers are down.
The battery is 7,050 mAh across two cells with 80 W charging, and the ports include USB 3.2 Gen 2 with DisplayPort output plus the 3.5 mm headphone jack that has disappeared from most flagships, alongside Bluetooth 5.4 and tri-band Wi-Fi. Software is REDMAGIC OS 10.5 on Android 15.
The camera, by contrast, is not the argument: a 50 MP main with optical stabilisation, a second 50 MP sensor and a 2 MP depth unit, with no optical zoom range at all. And 229 g is a reminder that active cooling is charged in size and mass.
Alternatives worth comparing
- OnePlus 13 — The OnePlus 13 runs the same Snapdragon 8 Elite for ≈ 9 JD less and adds three 50 MP rear cameras and a 6,000 mAh battery — but no fan, no triggers and no headphone jack. (580 JOD · estimate)
- iPhone 17e — At JOD 590 (estimate), it is JOD 1 more expensive. Compare the variants before deciding: 256GB+ versus 256GB storage, 4,005 versus 7,050 mAh, and Apple A19 versus Snapdragon 8 Elite. These are specification differences, not measured performance or battery life. (590 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
If gaming is the first reason to buy, ≈ 589 buys hardware that nothing else in this bracket offers: the fan, the triggers, the sampling rate and the battery. If the length of software support is part of your calculation, RedMagic's published update policy commits to two Android generations and three years of security patches for the 11 Pro and newer only, and leaves the 10 series to a case-by-case decision — that is the real ceiling on this device.

Phones JO index (spec-based)
What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 7,050 mAh — a very large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 80W — among the fastest around (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: AMOLED 1.5K, 6.85-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 50+50 MP (2 lenses) plus a 16 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- 7,050 mAh dual-cell battery with 80 W charging — among the highest figures nubia publishes for any of its phones
- ICE-X cooling: a 23,000 RPM fan, a 12,000 mm² vapor chamber and composite Liquid Metal 2.0
- 520 Hz shoulder triggers, up to 2,500 Hz screen touch sampling, a 3.5 mm jack and dual speakers — no accessories required
Cons
- RedMagic publishes no IP rating for water or dust resistance on this model
- 229 g and 8.9 mm; active cooling is paid for in bulk
- The third rear sensor is a 2 MP depth unit, so there is no telephoto and no extra optical reach
