Overview
The Oppo Find X7 Ultra is an upper mid-range phone from Oppo, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 499 (about $705), up to about JOD 579 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: ultra-fast 100W charging, and its sharp, bright display. Its chipset is in the strong tier (88/100 on our spec-based index) — on paper a fit for heavy daily use and most games.
Performance-index rank: #8 of 262 Oppo phones we list.
Why consider it?
The Find X7 Ultra (network certification code PHY110) is OPPO's first phone with two periscope lenses at once: four rear cameras, all 50MP, the main one on a full one-inch sensor, with optical zoom reaching 6x.
Who it suits
A buyer for whom photography is the first reason to spend, who wants front-rank camera hardware in the ≈ 499 to ≈ 579 band and is prepared to live with a China-market device.
Who should look elsewhere
Not for anyone who wants a light phone or a clear global support path: it is 221g and 9.5mm thick, and OPPO publishes no global page for it at all.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
OPPO documents this phone only on its Chinese site, under the network certification code PHY110, and that page now marks it as sold out. The correct order of the four rear cameras, as OPPO lists them, is: a 50MP main on a one-inch sensor at f/1.8 and a 23mm equivalent, with autofocus and OIS; a 50MP ultra-wide at f/2.0 and 14mm covering 123 degrees, which also autofocuses and shoots macro from 4cm; a 50MP periscope telephoto at f/2.6 and 65mm with OIS; and finally a 50MP close-up periscope at f/4.3 and 135mm, also stabilised. OPPO claims up to 6x optical and 120x digital zoom, with a 32MP 21mm front camera.
The display is a 6.82-inch flexible LTPO AMOLED at 3168x1440 and 510ppi, refreshing adaptively between 1Hz and 120Hz with touch sampling up to 240Hz, quoted at a 4,500-nit peak and 2,600 nits on HDR content. The processor is the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 at up to 3.3GHz, paired with LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 in configurations up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of storage, with no card slot.
The battery is built as two cells in series, 2,500mAh each, which OPPO states as 5,000mAh typical equivalent and 4,860mAh rated. Charging is 100W wired, 50W wireless and 10W reverse. IP68 appears in a detailed footnote: still water, 1.5 metres, thirty minutes. The software is ColorOS 14 in its Chinese build, and that is the single most important thing to check before buying, because it is a different track from the global releases.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Redmi K90 — The same outlay (≈ 499) buys the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 5, an index of 90 against 88 and a 7,100mAh battery; but its 50+50+8 camera has no one-inch sensor and no second periscope, so you gain speed and endurance and give up reach. (499 JOD · estimate)
- iPhone 14 Pro Max — If a clear global support path matters more: ≈ 499 puts you on iOS with a known update horizon; in return the index is 77 against 88, the battery is 4,323mAh, and the three rear cameras top out at 3x optical against 6x here. (499 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
It adds up in the ≈ 499 band if what you are buying is a four-lens 50MP camera system built around a one-inch sensor, and if you accept a phone released for the Chinese market with the software and warranty that implies. If you want a device on a clear global update and repair track, that is its real limit: OPPO published no product page for it outside China, and that is not a cosmetic detail - it is the whole difference between a supported phone and an imported one.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 5,000 mAh — a large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 100W — among the fastest around (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: LTPO AMOLED 2K, 6.82-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 50+50+50+50 MP (4 lenses) plus a 32 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- Four 50MP rear cameras with distinct jobs, in order: a one-inch main at f/1.8 and 23mm with OIS; an f/2.0 14mm ultra-wide covering 123 degrees with autofocus and 4cm macro; an f/2.6 65mm periscope telephoto with OIS; and an f/4.3 135mm close-up periscope with OIS - optical zoom up to 6x
- A 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED at 3168x1440 and 510ppi, refreshing adaptively from 1Hz to 120Hz, with a published 4,500-nit peak (1,600 nits typical in high-brightness mode)
- Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 with LPDDR5X memory, UFS 4.0 storage and Wi-Fi 7, plus 100W wired and 50W wireless charging and an IP68 rating stated in OPPO's footnote 13
Cons
- The only official page for this phone is the Chinese one; OPPO never published a global listing, which leaves the China build of ColorOS, Google services and servicing as questions to settle before you pay
- 221g and 9.5mm make it one of the heaviest slab phones in this class, the price of the camera housing and the dual-cell battery
- The 135mm periscope opens only to f/4.3, the narrowest of the four lenses, so 6x needs good light to show its best - and there is no memory-card slot
