Overview

The Pixel 6 Pro is a lower mid-range phone from Google Pixel, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 160 (about $225), up to about JOD 180 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.

Its main highlights: its sharp, bright display, and its vivid OLED display. Its chipset is entry-level (47/100) — for messaging, browsing and video; heavy gaming is not its territory.

Performance-index rank: #19 of 35 Google Pixel phones we list.

Why consider it?

Google's best phone of 2021, now between ≈ 160 and ≈ 180. It pairs an LTPO QHD+ screen running up to 120 Hz with three rear cameras that genuinely do different jobs, plus a 5,003 mAh typical battery. The one question that matters in 2026 is not on the spec sheet but in a date Google publishes: October 2026.

Who it suits

Someone who wants three real rear lenses and a high-resolution display for mid-range money, and knows they are buying a four-year-old handset.

Who should look elsewhere

Not for anyone buying a phone to stay patched for years ahead, nor for anyone who wants official service and easy parts, nor for anyone bothered by a 210-gram body.

Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence

The Pixel 6 Pro page has vanished from the Google Store — the old link now lands on an entirely different range of phones — but Google keeps the full spec table in the Pixel help centre, which is the source used here. Google lists a 6.7-inch QHD+ (1440 x 3120) LTPO OLED display at 512 ppi with Smooth Display up to 120 Hz, a Google Tensor processor with a Titan M2 security chip, 12 GB of LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.1 storage, a battery rated 5,003 mAh typical and 4,905 mAh minimum, and a weight of 210 grams.

The cameras, in role order: a 50 MP f/1.85 wide as the main sensor on a 1/1.31-inch chip, then a 12 MP ultrawide covering 114 degrees, then a 48 MP f/3.5 telephoto with 4x optical zoom and Super Res Zoom to 20x. The 48 MP figure therefore belongs to the zoom lens alone and says nothing about the ultrawide, though the usual order of the numbers in sales listings implies otherwise. The front camera is 11.1 MP with a 94-degree field of view.

For a second-hand buyer the decisive item sits outside that table. Two support pages combine: the phone reached the US Google Store in October 2021, and this generation receives five years of OS and security updates counted from availability. That produces one explicit deadline, October 2026 — a matter of weeks away — after which Google promises nothing further.

Locally, Google does not sell Pixel phones officially in Jordan, so units here are imports. Usefully, the two published model variants share identical LTE and sub-6 GHz 5G band tables and differ only in mmWave, and no charger ships in the box.

Alternatives worth comparing

  • Moto G75 5G — At JOD 159 (estimate), it is JOD 1 cheaper. Compare the variants before deciding: 256GB versus 128GB+ storage, 5,000 versus 5,003 mAh, and Snapdragon 6 Gen3 versus Google Tensor. These are specification differences, not measured performance or battery life. (159 JOD · estimate)
  • Tecno Camon 40 Pro — About the same price (≈ 160) for a 2025 handset with a Dimensity 7300 Ultimate, a 5,200 mAh battery and a 6.78-inch 120 Hz screen. It will not approach the Pixel's three-camera system, but it does not carry that system's central problem either: its age and its support window are both still near the start. (160 JOD · estimate)

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above

Buy it if the three-lens camera and the screen are the reason you are buying, and you treat it as a strong four-year-old camera phone rather than a handset for the years ahead. If staying patched is the criterion, the published date settles it: Google's guaranteed window for this model ends in October 2026, weeks from now, with no security commitment after that at any price.

What does that mean in plain words?

Chipset: Google Tensor — entry level (47/100) for messaging, browsing and video; not aimed at heavy gaming.
Battery: 5,003 mAh — a large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 23W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: LTPO OLED 2K, 6.7-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 50+12+48 MP (3 lenses) plus a 11 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Three rear cameras with genuinely separate jobs, as Google lists them: a 50 MP f/1.85 wide main on a 1/1.31-inch sensor, a 12 MP ultrawide at 114 degrees, and a 48 MP telephoto with 4x optical zoom, with both optical and electronic stabilisation
  • A 6.7-inch LTPO OLED panel at 1440 x 3120 and 512 ppi running up to 120 Hz — a flagship display specification rather than one from its current price class
  • The full flagship build around it: Gorilla Glass Victus front and back, IP68 dust and water resistance, an under-display fingerprint sensor, and the Tensor processor beside a Titan M2 security chip

Cons

  • The guaranteed update window closes in October 2026: Google publishes five years of OS and security updates counted from the day the phone reached its US store, and that published availability date is October 2021
  • The 23 W figure is not wired charging. Google publishes it as the wireless ceiling on the second-generation Pixel Stand and gives the phone no wired wattage at all, only a result — "up to 50% in 30 minutes" with a 30 W charger it states is sold separately
  • Google does not sell Pixel phones officially in Jordan, so every unit here is an import with no manufacturer service channel, and the product page itself is gone from the Google Store

Note: Unverified reference estimate (derived from launch pricing and comparable phones) — a starting point for negotiation, not a confirmed price. Specs come from official manufacturer announcements and the locally available variant may differ slightly; the indices are computed from specs and we have not tested the phone ourselves. USD equivalents use the official peg.
Specification ambiguity: Some spec fields on this page (charge_w, front_cam) could not be matched to the manufacturer's own page — either the maker does not publish them, publishes a different figure, or the name covers more than one variant. Treat them as unconfirmed. Spotted an error? Let us know.
