Overview
The Poco F3 is a budget phone from Xiaomi, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 105 (about $150), up to about JOD 125 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its vivid OLED display. Its chipset is mid-tier (61/100 on our spec-based index) — the usual class for social media, video, photos and light games.
Performance-index rank: #86 of 354 Xiaomi phones we list — and its performance-per-dinar is among the highest we list (an arithmetic ratio, not a verdict on value).
Why consider it?
Because POCO's own table gives it a Snapdragon 870 behind a 120Hz AMOLED panel - a combination that sold well above this bracket in 2021 - and because its last official build is Xiaomi HyperOS on an Android 13 base, an unusually advanced stopping point for a 2021 phone.
Who it suits
Someone chasing the most processing power available around ≈ 105, who wants a fast AMOLED screen, and who can live with a phone whose software has reached its final build.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who needs continuing security patches from the maker, wants a 3.5mm headphone jack, or relies on a memory card to expand storage.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
POCO's official specifications page puts a Snapdragon 870 in this phone, with a Kryo 585 CPU clocked up to 3.2GHz, LPDDR5 memory, UFS 3.1 storage and an X55 modem. The same table lists a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel at 2400x1080, a 120Hz refresh rate with 360Hz touch sampling, a stated 900 nits in high-brightness mode and 1300 nits peak, HDR10+ and Gorilla Glass 5. Those numbers are why the name is still in circulation years later.
In 2026, though, the buying decision is not settled on that page but on two others Xiaomi publishes. The first is the end-of-life list at its Security Center: the model is on it, and the text above the list says plainly that the company no longer maintains any software or firmware updates - security updates included - for anything listed. The second is the official ROM archive, where the newest stable package for the Global version is OS1.0.5.0.TKHMIXM, a Xiaomi HyperOS build sitting on Android 13 according to the package filename. Put together: the phone reached a comparatively advanced stopping point for a 2021 device, but it is a stopping point.
The remaining gaps are written into the same spec table and need no guesswork. The battery is 4520mAh with 33W charging. There is no 3.5mm jack, only a Type-C adapter in the box, and no memory-card slot, so storage is whatever you bought. The rear cameras are 48, 8 and 5 megapixels with a 20MP front unit - figures that describe the arrangement, not the pictures.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Mi 10S — For ≈ 3 more you get the same chip with a 108MP main camera, a larger battery and 30W wireless charging, but its screen stops at 90Hz and it was only ever sold in the Chinese market (≈ 108). (108 JOD · estimate)
Strengths and trade-offs in detail ›
Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
If what you want is processing headroom and a fast screen for as little money as possible, and you know the app list it will run, it makes sense between ≈ 105 and ≈ 125; but if this phone is going to hold your mail and your banking for years, the real limit is not speed - it is that Xiaomi has closed the security-update door on it for good.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 4,520 mAh — a mid-size capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 33W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: AMOLED FHD+, 6.67-inch — an OLED panel (true blacks, higher contrast than LCD).
Camera: 48+8+5 MP (3 lenses) plus a 20 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- Snapdragon 870 with a Kryo 585 CPU running up to 3.2GHz, paired with LPDDR5 memory and UFS 3.1 storage, per POCO's own sheet.
- A 6.67-inch AMOLED panel at 2400x1080 with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling, rated at 900 nits in high-brightness mode and 1300 nits peak, with HDR10+.
- Xiaomi's official ROM archive still offers OS1.0.5.0.TKHMIXM for the Global version - a Xiaomi HyperOS build on an Android 13 base, as the package filename itself states.
Cons
- The model sits on the end-of-life list at Xiaomi's Security Center, where the accompanying text states the company no longer maintains any software or firmware updates, security updates included, for listed products.
- A 4520mAh battery with 33W wired charging, and POCO's table lists no wireless charging for this model.
- No 3.5mm headphone jack (the box carries a Type-C adapter instead) and no memory-card slot, so storage is fixed at whatever you buy.
