Overview
The Poco M6 Pro is a budget phone from Xiaomi, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 119 (about $170), up to about JOD 139 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its vivid OLED display, and its large 5,000 mAh battery. Its chipset is entry-level (42/100) — for messaging, browsing and video; heavy gaming is not its territory.
Performance-index rank: #174 of 354 Xiaomi phones we list.
Why consider it?
The POCO M6 Pro shares its exact millimetre dimensions with the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G (161.1 x 74.95 x 7.98), the same Helio G99-Ultra and the same 67W charging with the adapter in the box, and lowers the price by fitting a stabilised 64MP main camera instead of a 200MP one. It starts at ≈ 119 JD.
Who it suits
Someone who wants a 120Hz AMOLED, genuinely fast charging, a headphone jack and an IR blaster for as little money as possible, and who does not need 5G.
Who should look elsewhere
Not for a buyer who expects to move onto a 5G network while still using this phone, nor for anyone who shoots 4K video or wants serious gaming silicon.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
Start with the comparison that explains this phone. POCO lists it at 161.1 x 74.95 x 7.98mm, which is precisely what Xiaomi publishes for the Redmi Note 13 Pro 4G, and the silicon matches too: a Helio G99-Ultra on a 6nm process, two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz with six A55 cores at 2.0GHz, Mali-G57 MC2 graphics, a 5,000mAh cell and 67W charging. The substantive difference is the camera - a 64MP sensor of 1/2-inch size at f/1.79 with optical stabilisation, in place of a 200MP unit. In practice you pay less for a smaller sensor that keeps its stabiliser, and stabilisation does more in poor light than a megapixel count does. The display is a 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED at 2400x1080, 394ppi, up to 120Hz, 1,300 nits peak and Gorilla Glass 5, with a 2160Hz touch sampling rate that POCO's own footnote restricts to Game Turbo mode. The rest of the kit is generous for the class: stereo speakers, a 3.5mm jack, Hi-Res certification, an IR blaster, a Z-axis vibration motor, 8GB with 256GB and card expansion to 1TB, plus an IP54 splash and dust rating. The limits are equally explicit. Not one 5G band appears in the network table. Video tops out at 1080p60. The hybrid tray forces a choice between a second SIM and a memory card, and wireless is Wi-Fi 5 with Bluetooth 5.2. The stated operating system is MIUI 14, and POCO publishes no number of Android upgrades or security years on this page, which makes that an unknown rather than a guarantee.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Galaxy A17 5G — At JOD 160 (estimate), it is JOD 41 more expensive. Compare the variants before deciding: 128GB+ versus 256GB+ storage, 5,000 versus 5,000 mAh, and Exynos 1330 versus Helio G99 Ultra. These are specification differences, not measured performance or battery life. (160 JOD · estimate)
- Moto G64 5G — The other trade at the same figure: a 6,000mAh battery, a 5G-capable Dimensity 7025 and a 120Hz panel, but a smaller 6.5-inch screen, only two rear lenses (50+8) and no stabilised 64MP sensor. (119 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
If the goal is the most screen and the fastest charging for the least money, and you will not need 5G for as long as you keep the phone, this is one of the cleaner buys between ≈ 119 and ≈ 139 JD. If you are buying for the years ahead, the limit is written plainly on POCO's own sheet: a 4G-only modem, and MIUI 14 with no published update window.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 5,000 mAh — a large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 67W — among the fastest around (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: AMOLED FHD+, 6.67-inch — an OLED panel (true blacks, higher contrast than LCD).
Camera: 64+8+2 MP (3 lenses) plus a 16 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- 67W wired charging with the matching adapter listed in the box contents - an unusual figure at this price level
- A 64MP main camera on a 1/2-inch sensor at f/1.79 with optical stabilisation, alongside an 8MP ultrawide with a 118-degree field of view
- A 6.67-inch Flow AMOLED at 2400x1080 and 394ppi with 1,300 nits peak, Gorilla Glass 5 and an in-display fingerprint reader
Cons
- No 5G support at all - the network row of POCO's table reads 4G/3G/2G and nothing more
- Video recording stops at 1080p60 on both cameras; no 4K option appears anywhere on the official sheet
- The second card slot is hybrid, so a second SIM and a memory card are mutually exclusive, and wireless is Wi-Fi 5 with Bluetooth 5.2
