Overview
The Realme GT 3 is a lower mid-range phone from Realme, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 245 (about $345), up to about JOD 299 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: ultra-fast 240W charging, and its sharp, bright display. Its chipset is in the strong tier (77/100 on our spec-based index) — on paper a fit for heavy daily use and most games.
Performance-index rank: #14 of 205 Realme phones we list.
Why consider it?
A Snapdragon 8+ built on a 4nm process running to 3.0GHz with Adreno 730 graphics, a 6.74-inch AMOLED at 2772x1240 and 144Hz, and 240W charging with a 20V/12A adapter in the box — from ≈ 245 up to ≈ 299.
Who it suits
Someone buying flagship-class performance for the least money, who values a 144Hz panel and refills nothing else can match.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who needs a battery that survives a long day away from a socket, or who wants an ultra-wide and a telephoto worth using.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
The GT3 is the model where realme cut everything in service of two line items: speed and charging. The company prints the chipset as 'Snapdragon 8+ 5G Chipset' with no 'Gen 1' attached, but the detail it does publish — TSMC 4nm, octa-core to 3.0GHz, Adreno 730 — belongs unambiguously to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1. LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage complete it.
The display is a 6.74-inch AMOLED at 2772x1240, which is 1.5K class, refreshing up to 144Hz, with a 93.69% screen-to-body ratio, a quoted 5,000,000:1 contrast, full DCI-P3 coverage and COP bonding.
Charging is the other headline: 240W SUPERVOOC, with a 20V/12A adapter included. The bill for it is paid by the cell, at 4600mAh typical and 4450mAh rated — a small capacity to sit behind a screen of that resolution and refresh rate.
The cameras run in this order: a 50MP Sony IMX890 main sensor at 1/1.56 inch and f/1.88 with optical stabilisation; then an 8MP ultra-wide covering 112 degrees; then a 2MP macro at a dim f/3.3. The selfie camera is a 16MP Samsung unit.
Elsewhere it is generous: NFC, an infrared remote, Bluetooth 5.3 with LDAC, LHDC and aptX-HD, and stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, in a 199g body 8.9mm thick, running realme UI 4.0 on Android 13. Its official documentation, though, now exists only on regional sites.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Vivo T4 Pro 5G — The Vivo T4 Pro at ≈ 245 attacks the GT3's exact weakness with a 6500mAh battery instead of 4600mAh, at the cost of a slower Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 and a 120Hz rather than 144Hz screen. (245 JOD · estimate)
- Xiaomi 13 — The Xiaomi 13, from the same year, carries the newer Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 and a genuinely useful triple camera set (50+10+12) in a smaller 6.36-inch body, but its charging is nowhere near 240W and its panel stops at 120Hz. (245 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
If you are buying raw performance at ≈ 245 and a charger is never far from your desk or car, very little else at this money offers this chip and this panel; if your day runs long away from power, the 4600mAh cell behind a 1.5K 144Hz display is the limit you will meet every evening.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 4,600 mAh — a mid-size capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 240W — among the fastest around (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: AMOLED 1.5K, 6.74-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 50+8+2 MP (3 lenses) plus a 16 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- Snapdragon 8+ on TSMC 4nm, octa-core to 3.0GHz with Adreno 730, paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 3.1 storage — flagship silicon, not a mid-range part.
- A 6.74-inch AMOLED at 2772x1240 and 144Hz, with a 93.69% screen-to-body ratio, quoted 5,000,000:1 contrast and full DCI-P3 coverage.
- 240W SUPERVOOC with a 20V/12A adapter supplied, plus stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos and Hi-Res certification, Bluetooth 5.3 carrying LDAC, LHDC and aptX-HD, NFC and an infrared blaster.
Cons
- The cell is 4600mAh typical and 4450mAh rated — the smallest of anything near this price — and it has to feed a 144Hz panel and a flagship chip.
- Behind the Sony IMX890 main sensor there is nothing serious: an 8MP ultra-wide, then a 2MP macro at f/3.3, and no telephoto of any kind.
- There is no page for it on realme's global or India sites, and the Middle East specs URL opens with the right title but renders no spec table — official documentation for this model is now regional and scattered.
