Overview
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is an upper mid-range phone from Xiaomi, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 639 (about $900), up to about JOD 749 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its big 6,100 mAh battery, and ultra-fast 90W charging. Its chipset sits in the top tier (94/100 on our spec-based index) — the class usually chosen for heavy gaming, video editing and intensive use.
Performance-index rank: #9 of 354 Xiaomi phones we list.
Why consider it?
The Xiaomi 15 Pro is the model that usually falls out of the picture: smaller than the 15 Ultra, larger than the 15, and sold by Xiaomi in China only. Its official table lists a Snapdragon 8 Elite, a true 2K 3200 x 1440 display, a 6100 mAh battery and three 50 MP cameras including a 120 mm periscope, starting at ≈ 639 JOD.
Who it suits
People who actually shoot at distance — a 50 MP, 120 mm lens with OIS is not a digital crop or a token 3x. It also suits anyone who wants a 6100 mAh cell and 50 W wireless charging in a phone at this tier.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who wants something light: 213 g in the standard finish and 219 g in the silver edition. And anyone who needs a warranty and an authorised repair path, because the phone is not listed outside the Chinese store at all.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
The Chinese spec table puts a Snapdragon 8 Elite in the 15 Pro, built on TSMC's second-generation 3 nm process, eight cores topping out at 4.32 GHz, with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage in options up to 16 GB and 1 TB.
The screen is 6.73 inches, described as AMOLED with an equal-depth micro-curve on the edges, at 3200 x 1440 — 2K, not 1.5K. Xiaomi quotes "up to 120 Hz" for refresh, 300 Hz touch sampling, an 8,000,000:1 contrast ratio, a 3200-nit peak and Longjing Glass 2.0. It does not quote a minimum refresh rate or a variable-refresh range anywhere on the page.
All three rear cameras are 50 MP with Leica Summilux optics: the main is f/1.44 on the Light Hunter 900 at a 23 mm equivalent with OIS and QPD focus; the 120 mm periscope is f/2.5 with OIS and 30 cm tele-macro; the ultra-wide is 14 mm and f/2.2 with a 115-degree field of view, autofocus and 5 cm macro. The front camera is 32 MP, and rear video runs to 8K at 24 and 30 fps.
The battery is 6100 mAh typical and 5960 mAh minimum, charging at 90 W wired and 50 W wireless with QC and PD support. There is a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader; the body measures 161.3 x 75.3 x 8.35 mm at 213 g (8.73 mm and 219 g for the silver version), carries IP68 rated at 1.5 m for 30 minutes, and runs HyperOS 2.
The detail that decides the purchase is not in the hardware: this model appears in no Xiaomi catalogue outside China, so every unit that reaches Amman is an import.

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
Worth somewhere between ≈ 639 and ≈ 749 JOD if the 120 mm telephoto is what you are paying for and you are willing to buy an imported unit. If you want something bought from an authorised dealer and serviceable locally, this model stops at a limit that has nothing to do with its hardware: Xiaomi does not sell it outside China.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 6,100 mAh — a very large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 90W — among the fastest around (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: LTPO AMOLED 2K, 6.73-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 50+50+50 MP (3 lenses) plus a 32 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- A Snapdragon 8 Elite on TSMC's second-generation 3 nm process running up to 4.32 GHz, with LPDDR5X and UFS 4.0 in configurations reaching 16 GB and 1 TB.
- Three 50 MP Leica rear cameras: an f/1.44 main on the Light Hunter 900 with OIS, a 120 mm f/2.5 periscope with OIS and 30 cm tele-macro, and a 14 mm, 115-degree ultra-wide with autofocus.
- A 6100 mAh battery with 90 W wired and 50 W wireless charging, a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint reader, and IP68 under stated lab conditions (1.5 m for 30 minutes).
Cons
- It is a China-exclusive model — Xiaomi's global catalogue carries the 15 and the 15 Ultra only — so every unit arrives through import, on Chinese software and without local warranty.
- 213 g and 8.35 mm, rising to 219 g and 8.73 mm for the silver edition, make it heavy for its class.
- Stepping up to the top storage tier costs the gap between ≈ 639 and ≈ 749 JOD while the chip, screen, cameras and battery stay exactly the same.
