The “Top index per dinar” badge means a phone's spec-index-to-price ratio is among the highest we list — an arithmetic ratio, not a judgement about real value, which also depends on build, warranty, software support and camera output that the formula cannot see.

New or used? Agent warranty or imported unit?
These two questions decide the price in Jordan more than anything else. What follows is general market information — not legal advice, and not a guarantee about any seller's policy:
New versus used
The core difference is that used phones have no clear reference price: the same model varies with battery health, scratches, storage tier and whether the box is included. We only show a used price when we have observed enough listings for that exact model — most phones have no such record, so no used figure appears on their page. If you buy used: check battery health in the phone's settings, verify the IMEI against the box, and test the cameras, buttons and charging in front of the seller.
Agent warranty versus imported units
Units that come through the official regional distributor usually cost more, and the premium buys a known service channel inside Jordan. Imported units (or "shop warranty") are cheaper, and both the length of the warranty and who honours it vary from shop to shop. We do not track any shop and we publish no sales links, so we cannot say which unit at which shop carries an agent warranty — ask the seller and get the warranty written on the invoice before paying.
Why do some phones have no observed price?
Because we found no recent local listing at the last observation run. Many catalog phones reach Jordan only through importers or are not offered locally at all, and their price here is a reference estimate labelled "estimate". We do not present a phone as a top pick on the basis of an estimated price — every recommendation above is for a phone with an observed price.
