The battery kings of 2026: the longest-lasting phones at every budget

Out of the 400 phones we track, 29 now carry a 7,000 mAh battery or bigger — here are the ones worth your money at every budget, starting around JOD 279.

Battery life is the one spec you feel every single day. A faster chip shows up in games and a better camera shows up in photos, but a weak battery drags down everything from morning to night. And the landscape has genuinely shifted: of the 400 phones on the site, 29 now pack 7,000 mAh or more. Prices below are the approximate figures we track, updated for July 2026.

What 7,000 mAh actually means

The number alone doesn't tell the story. In practice, the gap between 5,000 and 7,000 mAh is the gap between charging every night and hoping it holds, and walking out the door without thinking about a charger at all. Typical use — social apps, video, maps, calls — carries into a second day, and heavy use comfortably finishes the first. There's a long-term angle too: batteries degrade with age, so a phone that starts at 7,000 mAh still has margin two years in, while one that starts at 4,000 ends up chasing wall sockets.

Under JOD 300

  • Honor X9d — an 8,300 mAh battery, the biggest you'll find in a regular (non-rugged) phone on our list, with 66W charging and a 6.79-inch screen, at around JOD 279. Its performance index is 54/100 — a mid-tier phone in raw speed, but unbeatable endurance for the money.

The JOD 300–500 sweet spot

  • Poco F7 — 7,550 mAh with 90W charging and a 6.83-inch screen at around JOD 379 (88/100). The strongest battery-performance-price balance on this entire list.
  • OnePlus 15R — 7,400 mAh with 80W charging at around JOD 489 (90/100), if you want near-flagship feel without the flagship bill.

Flagship tier, no compromises

  • Nubia RedMagic 11 Pro — 7,500 mAh with 120W charging, a 98/100 performance index, around JOD 609. It's a gaming phone at heart, so the huge battery comes attached to top-shelf hardware.
  • OnePlus 15 — 7,300 mAh with 120W charging, also 98/100, around JOD 650.
  • Oppo Find X9 Pro — if budget is no object: 7,500 mAh plus a first-class camera system at around JOD 999 (97/100).

And the outright monster

Blackview Xplore 2 — a rugged phone with a 20,000 mAh battery and 120W charging at around JOD 510. It's neither thin nor pretty, but for field work, camping trips, or anywhere power is unreliable, nothing else comes close.
