What is confirmed?
Apple has announced iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, with published US starting prices of $1,199 and $1,299 respectively. These are US-market prices, not Jordanian offers. Apple's announcement.
Correction to the earlier article
The August version presented launch-lineup and timing expectations as settled facts without a direct source. We replaced it with this announcement-based update. We do not establish a base-model date or an unverified Jordanian price here, and a prediction of older-phone price cuts is not a recorded market change.
Currency conversion is not a shop quotation
A local offer depends on variant, storage, condition, accessories and warranty. A converted dollar figure establishes neither arrival nor stock. Until a dated local observation identifies the variant, treat a circulating amount as an estimate or an offer requiring confirmation. Update, September 24: we now have a dated Jordanian observation for the 256GB versions of both models (taken September 23, from more than one source). The current figure and its date are on the iPhone 18 Pro Max page and the iPhone 18 Pro page, and they move with every price run.
Buy an older generation or wait?
If your current phone works for you, waiting for comparable offers gives you more information about the price gap. If it has failed and you need a replacement today, define your budget and essential tasks and compare available offers. A new launch alone does not prove that an existing model will become cheaper shortly.
Open the iPhone 17 Pro Max page and check its priced variant and observation date. Write down the function you would gain from upgrading, then the premium you would pay for it. If the function does not enter your routine, keeping your phone or choosing an earlier generation may fit better.
Before paying a deposit
Ask for the variant, storage, final amount, written delivery date and cancellation terms. Establish SIM compatibility and local warranty rather than assuming every regional version is identical. Use our offer checklist; the global announcement does not answer these questions.
