The Best Phones Under JOD 100: What You Actually Get

There are 2,377 devices with a starting price under JOD 100. We filtered them down to the fastest, the longest-lasting and the newest — and we are honest about what you give up at this price.

Under JOD 100 there are really only two kinds of phone: a former flagship whose price has fallen over the years, or a brand-new budget device from a lesser-known brand built around a big battery and a big screen and not much else. The gap between them in performance and daily experience is huge, and each suits a different kind of user. Every price here is a starting price and moves with availability and memory configuration.

Fastest: an old flagship at budget money

If performance and gaming are what you care about, the best value here is a 2020-2022 device that sat at the top of its range when it launched. These three carry the highest performance scores under the cap:

  • OnePlus Ace Racing Edition — JOD 99, performance score 61 out of 100, Dimensity 8100 Max, 6.59-inch IPS LCD FHD+ at 120Hz, 5000mAh with 67W charging, 8GB RAM and 128GB storage, released 2022.
  • Lenovo Legion Pro — JOD 89, score 59, Snapdragon 865+, 6.65-inch AMOLED FHD+ at 144Hz, 5000mAh with 25W charging, 8GB RAM, released 2020.
  • Poco F3 GT — JOD 95, score 58, Dimensity 1200, 6.67-inch AMOLED FHD+ at 120Hz, 5065mAh with 67W charging, 8GB RAM, released 2021.

One caveat: these are four to six years old, they usually turn up through local classified listings with no official warranty, their batteries have already spent part of their life, and system updates have stopped. The price makes sense, but only if you inspect the device before you pay.

Biggest battery: days away from a charger

If you work outdoors and want a battery that refuses to die, the Blackview BV7100 at JOD 99 gives you 12000mAh with 33W charging, a Helio G85 chip, 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, and a 6.58-inch IPS LCD FHD+ screen at 60Hz, released 2022. Its performance score is 25 out of 100 — fine for messaging, maps and casual photos, not for games. If you want a big battery in something newer, the Oukitel G7 at JOD 95 packs 10600mAh, a 2026 release and a score of 18.

Newest: a phone straight out of the box

The cheapest way to get a genuinely new device is the Umidigi G100 Pro: prices start at JOD 79 and reach JOD 95 depending on the configuration, released 2026, Helio G81, 6000mAh with 33W charging, a 6.9-inch IPS LCD HD+ screen at 120Hz, a 50+2 rear camera and a 16MP front camera, with 4GB RAM and 128GB or more of storage. Its performance score is 21 out of 100. On a tighter budget, the HMD Arc 2 at JOD 69 offers a 5000mAh battery and a 2026 release too, but a score of just 12.

Here is what you give up at this level. Night photography is weak on nearly all of them — devices like the G100 Pro and the Arc 2 use simple sensors and 16MP and 5MP front cameras, and results fall apart in low light. Heavy gaming is out of reach on the new budget models and only realistic on the older flagships. Charging speed varies a lot: 67W on the OnePlus Ace Racing Edition and the Poco F3 GT, but 25W on the Legion Pro and 33W on most of the new devices. Many of these screens are HD+ rather than FHD+, and 4GB of RAM fills up quickly once you keep several apps open.

The bottom line: if you want performance and can live with a used device and no warranty, the Ace Racing Edition at JOD 99 is the strongest thing on this list. If battery life is the priority, nothing matches the BV7100 at JOD 99. And if you want a sealed box and a simple, trouble-free phone, the G100 Pro from JOD 79 is the practical pick — as long as your expectations of the camera and the performance stay realistic.
