Figures as published (July 25, 2026). Prices written in the article text are our catalog's figures when it was written, and prices move — each phone's current price and its status (observed with a date, or an estimate) are on its page.
The English edition of the site (under /en/) is a full mirror of Phones JO: the same phones and the same live market prices we track — just presented in English — prices in Jordanian dinars, with USD equivalents.
Who it's for
Expats and visitors living in Jordan who don't read Arabic, and anyone abroad curious what phones actually cost in the Jordanian market. Budget filters and buying guides use dollar brackets for convenience.
How the dollar prices are calculated
The Jordanian dinar is pegged to the dollar at a fixed rate (1 JOD = 1.412 USD), so we convert the same live Jordan market price we track and round it to the nearest 5 dollars. It's the exact same current price, in another currency. On each phone page you'll also see an approximate figure in your own currency, for 50+ currencies.
You can switch to the Arabic edition here or from the «عربي» button at the top of the page.
What this analysis is based on
The figures here are computed from the Phones JO catalog itself — specifications taken from manufacturers’ official announcements, and prices from dated observation runs of OpenSooq listings for new units. This is not rewritten from other sites, and we have not tested the phones ourselves. Our method in detail ›
