Figures as published (August 1, 2026). Prices written in the article text are our catalog's figures when it was written, and prices move — each phone's current price and its status (observed with a date, or an estimate) are on its page and in the “Phones mentioned” cards below, and any device or brand count above belongs to that date.
The problem in this tier is not the price, it is the naming. Smart, Hot, Note and GT on one side; Spark and Pova on the other — and the name alone tells you nothing about what is inside. Since both brands belong to the same group, you also find phones with near-identical specs competing over the same hundred dinars.
The Infinix ladder: from Smart to GT
Smart is the cheapest and simplest line, Hot is the mid-tier that carries the sales, Note is the higher tier for camera and charging, and GT is aimed at gaming. The jump in points between series is large — sometimes larger than the jump in price.
- Infinix Smart 20: JOD 75, 20 points, Helio G81 Ultimate chip, 8MP camera, 15W charging
- Infinix Hot 70: JOD 135, 46 points, 6000 mAh battery and 45W charging, but an IPS LCD HD+ screen
- Infinix Hot 70 Pro: JOD 175, 49 points, Dimensity 7100 chip, 6.76-inch 144Hz screen
- Infinix Note 60 Pro: JOD 299, 60 points, Snapdragon 7s Gen4 chip, 90W charging
- Infinix Note 60 Ultra: JOD 449, 79 points, 7000 mAh battery, 100W charging, 200+50+8 camera
Tecno: Spark for the low end, Pova for design
Tecno works along two main lines: Spark reaches the lowest price points on the market, while Pova concentrates on screen, design and speed. The gap inside the Spark line itself is wider than the gap between the two brands.
- Tecno Spark 40C: JOD 62, 22 points, Helio G81 chip, HD+ 120Hz screen, 18W charging
- Tecno Spark 40: JOD 78, 20 points, AMOLED FHD+ 144Hz screen, but a 5200 mAh battery and 18W charging
- Tecno Spark 40 Pro: JOD 105, 45 points, Helio G100 Ultimate chip, AMOLED 1.5K 144Hz screen, 45W charging
- Tecno Pova Slim 5G: JOD 209, 51 points, Dimensity 7300 Ultimate chip, 5160 mAh battery
- Tecno Pova Curve 5G: JOD 225, 52 points, curved AMOLED 1.5K screen, 5500 mAh battery, 64+8 camera
What you give up at this price
The first sacrifice is the camera: under JOD 150 you get a single 50MP lens and an 8MP front camera, and when a second lens appears it is an 8MP helper, nothing more. The second is the screen: the Infinix Hot 70 at JOD 135 carries 6000 mAh and 45W charging, but its panel is IPS LCD HD+. Most important, the spec sheet can mislead. The Tecno Spark 40 at JOD 78 has an AMOLED FHD+ 144Hz screen and still scores only 20 — below the Tecno Spark 40C, which costs JOD 62 and scores 22.
Track points per dinar rather than the name on the box. Under JOD 150, the Tecno Spark 40 Pro at JOD 105 and 45 points, with an AMOLED 1.5K screen and 45W charging, is the strongest thing in the tier. At JOD 175 two phones sit at exactly the same price: the Infinix Hot 70 Pro at 49 points with an IPS panel, and the Infinix GT 30 5G at 51 points with an AMOLED FHD+ screen and 256GB of storage. Higher up, the Infinix GT 50 Pro at JOD 339 scores 79 — the same as the Infinix Note 60 Ultra at JOD 449. That is JOD 110 for an identical index, paid for a 7000 mAh battery, 100W charging and a 200MP camera. If those three are not your priority, keep the money.
