Figures as published (August 3, 2026). Prices written in the article text are our catalog's figures when it was written, and prices move — each phone's current price and its status (observed with a date, or an estimate) are on its page and in the “Phones mentioned” cards below, and any device or brand count above belongs to that date.
Storage is one of the easiest things to sell you. The number is big, clear and easy to compare, so it becomes the first thing you see and the first thing you remember. Our database holds 127 phones with 512GB or more, and the cheapest of them is the Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition at JOD 115. The question nobody asks you: do you actually fill 512GB, or are you paying for a number?
Who needs the space and who does not
Large storage genuinely matters in specific cases: if you shoot high-resolution video almost daily, if you keep heavy games installed all at once instead of deleting and re-downloading, or if you keep a film and music library on the device itself because a connection is not always available. These users hit the ceiling for real and feel it.
On the other hand, the most common usage pattern — messaging, social media, ordinary camera use and a handful of apps — rarely passes half that capacity even after two years. And if your photos and chats are already backed up to the cloud, the phone is carrying a second copy of something stored elsewhere. Consider that before paying the difference.

Where the deal turns bad
Compare the first two entries and the picture becomes clear. The TCL 60 SE at JOD 129 is a new 2025 device, but its screen is IPS LCD at HD+ resolution, its performance score is 26 and it charges at 18W. The Redmi K20 Pro Premium Edition is JOD 14 cheaper, scores 54, has an AMOLED FHD+ panel and 12GB of RAM — but it dates back to 2019. Both carry exactly the same storage figure, and that is precisely the trap: 512GB can be the single attractive feature on a phone whose remaining specs are modest, and the buyer only sees the number.
The practical rule: put storage last on your list, not first. At a budget of JOD 185, the Tecno Camon 30 Premier 5G gives you a score of 64, an LTPO AMOLED 1.5K panel at 120Hz and 70W charging alongside the same 512GB — the capacity arrives with a capable phone rather than instead of one. And when the price gap between the 256GB and 512GB versions of the same model is wide, taking the smaller version and relying on cloud storage usually works out cheaper. Prices listed are starting prices in the local market and vary by version and availability.
