Overview

The Galaxy F34 5G is a budget phone from Samsung, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 98 (about $140) — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.

Its main highlights: its big 6,000 mAh battery, and its vivid OLED display. Its chipset is entry-level (42/100) — for messaging, browsing and video; heavy gaming is not its territory.

Performance-index rank: #95 of 342 Samsung phones we list.

Why consider it?

A 6,000mAh battery and a 6.5-inch 120Hz Super AMOLED, backed by Samsung's four-OS-generation commitment.

Who it suits

Buyers who want a decent AMOLED screen and long battery life for as little as possible, and do not care about peak performance.

Who should look elsewhere

Heavy gamers, anyone who needs fast charging, and anyone who insists on a confirmed local warranty.

Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence

The Galaxy F34 5G was announced by Samsung for India on 7 August 2023 and went on sale on 11 August through Flipkart and Samsung's Indian store. Samsung's F line is essentially the same recipe as its M line sold through a different retail channel, which is why the specification sheet reads almost identically to the Galaxy M34 5G.

What Samsung states: a 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED at 120Hz, protected by Gorilla Glass 5, with 1,000 nits peak brightness and Vision Booster for outdoor use. A 6,000mAh battery with 25W wired charging. A 5nm Exynos 1280. A 50MP main camera with optical stabilisation, an 8MP 120-degree ultra-wide, and a 13MP front camera. Our catalog records a third 2MP rear sensor, but Samsung's release does not name it, so we build no claim on it.

The part that genuinely matters is the update policy: Samsung committed to four generations of OS upgrades and five years of security patches, counted from an Android 13 launch in August 2023. That leaves a phone at this price with a reasonable amount of security runway still on the clock, but roughly two and a half years less than something released this year — which is exactly the trade you are making when you buy a 2023 model cheap.

We have not tested this phone. It is an India-market model, we could not find an official Samsung Jordan listing for it, and the ≈ 98 shown here is an unverified estimate.

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above

If battery and screen are your priorities and a mid-tier chip is acceptable, ≈ 98 buys more hardware than you would expect — but this is a model launched for India whose official Jordanian release we could not confirm, and the price we show is an estimate rather than a verified figure.

What does that mean in plain words?

Chipset: Exynos 1280 — entry level (42/100) for messaging, browsing and video; not aimed at heavy gaming.
Battery: 6,000 mAh — a very large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 25W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: Super AMOLED, 6.5-inch — an OLED panel (true blacks, higher contrast than LCD).
Camera: 50+8+2 MP (3 lenses) plus a 13 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • A 6.5-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED at 120Hz with Gorilla Glass 5 and 1,000 nits peak brightness, per Samsung.

Cons

  • The configuration we track is 6GB of RAM with 128GB of storage, although Samsung also sold an 8GB version.
  • 25W wired charging for a 6,000mAh cell — a big battery with only moderate charging power.

Note: Unverified reference estimate (derived from launch pricing and comparable phones) — a starting point for negotiation, not a confirmed price. Specs come from official manufacturer announcements and the locally available variant may differ slightly; the indices are computed from specs and we have not tested the phone ourselves. USD equivalents use the official peg.
Specification ambiguity: Some spec fields on this page (?) could not be matched to the manufacturer's own page — either the maker does not publish them, publishes a different figure, or the name covers more than one variant. Treat them as unconfirmed. Spotted an error? Let us know.
