Overview
The Galaxy XCover 6 Pro is a lower mid-range phone from Samsung, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 165 (about $235) — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its practical balance of price and specs. Its chipset is entry-level (47/100) — for messaging, browsing and video; heavy gaming is not its territory.
Performance-index rank: #69 of 342 Samsung phones we list.
Why consider it?
The XCover6 Pro is equipment rather than a consumer handset: Samsung sells it through its business channel with an IP68 rating, MIL-STD 810H durability, a battery its own table marks as removable, and POGO pin charging.
Who it suits
Anyone whose phone spends the day in a workshop, a warehouse, a delivery van or a service call, and any manager keeping a set of handsets running by swapping a battery instead of replacing the whole device.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who wants the best screen and camera the same money can buy, or who would resent carrying 235 grams at 9.9mm thick in a pocket all day.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
Samsung's UK business page for SM-G736B publishes the whole table. The display is 167.2mm, 6.6 inches as a full rectangle and 6.4 inches with the rounded corners counted, at 1080x2408, PLS LCD; the 120Hz figure sits in the page copy rather than the table, with a note that switching the setting to standard fixes the refresh rate at 60Hz. The processor is listed only as octa-core at 2.4GHz and 1.8GHz and Samsung never names it, so our own chipset entry has no manufacturer backing. Rear cameras are 50MP F1.8 plus 8MP F2.2 with no optical stabilisation, and the front camera is 13MP F2.2. The battery is 4,050mAh with the removable field set to Yes, and the page explains that you either swap in a second charged pack, use the 15W fast charger, or charge through the POGO pins. The durability claims are published too: IP68 and MIL-STD 810H across immersion, salt fog, dust, vibration and drop testing, with touch that answers through leather gloves under 2mm and on damp hands. The table adds 6GB of memory and 128GB of storage with microSD to 1TB in a dedicated third slot, a 3.5mm jack, USB 3.2, Wi-Fi 6E, DeX support, and a 235g body at 9.9mm. As of September 2026 Samsung's security page still lists the XCover6 Pro among enterprise models on quarterly updates, yet Samsung Levant publishes neither a product page nor a support entry for it. This is a reading of published documents, not a day in the field.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Galaxy M55 5G — Another Samsung for the same money (≈ 165): a Snapdragon 7 Gen1, a 5,000mAh battery, a 50+8+2 camera set and a spec index of 50 against 47, two years newer and easier to carry, in exchange for giving up the certifications and the hand-swapped battery. (165 JOD · estimate)

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
If the phone will live where ordinary phones die, among dust, water, drops and gloved hands, there is very little else that does this job, and the swappable battery alone can justify the gap across two or three years. If the work is desk-bound, the same money buys far more screen, camera and speed. The honest limit stands: the price is an unverified estimate, no local channel for this model is published, and the security support Samsung currently lists for it is quarterly.

Phones JO index (spec-based)
What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 4,050 mAh — a mid-size capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 15W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: LCD 120Hz, 6.6-inch — an LCD panel; lower contrast than OLED, and the norm at this price.
Camera: 50+8 MP (2 lenses) plus a 13 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- The Removable field in Samsung's table reads Yes: a 4,050mAh battery the user swaps without tools, with POGO pin charging and a 15W charger both described on the same page
- The full durability stack is published: IP68 and MIL-STD 810H covering immersion, salt fog, dust, vibration and drop, with touch that still registers through leather gloves thinner than 2mm and on wet hands
- Practical hardware that has disappeared elsewhere: microSD to 1TB in a slot of its own beside two SIMs, a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB 3.2, Wi-Fi 6E and Samsung DeX support
Cons
- The panel is PLS LCD rather than AMOLED at 1080x2408, and the body is heavy for its class at 235g and 9.9mm
- Charging tops out at 15W on a 4,050mAh pack, less capacity and slower filling than much cheaper phones in this catalog, and the 50MP camera has no optical stabilisation
- There is no product page and not even a support-model entry for it on Samsung Levant, and Samsung names the chipset on none of its pages, so our Snapdragon 778G record is unverified
