Overview
The iPhone 15 is an upper mid-range phone from Apple, with the 128GB variant (new) observed from about JOD 459 (about $650) in local classified listings for new units on 30 September 2026. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its vivid OLED display. Its chipset is in the strong tier (78/100 on our spec-based index) — on paper a fit for heavy daily use and most games.
Performance-index rank: #15 of 46 Apple phones we list.
Why consider it?
The generation that moved Pro features into the standard iPhone: a 48 MP main camera, the Dynamic Island and USB-C. At JOD 459 (observed, 128 GB) it is one of the most sensible entries into a current iPhone — provided you accept 60 Hz.
Who it suits
Someone who wants a relatively recent iPhone with a strong camera and USB-C under JOD 450, and who shoots and shares daily.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who notices the 120 Hz difference when scrolling, or who wants long battery life (3,349 mAh with 20 W charging).
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
The A16 Bionic (78/100 on our index) should stay comfortable for years on paper. The 48+12 MP set is the key jump over the iPhone 13/14, theoretically allowing better 2× crops; we have not tested the images. The FHD+ OLED is sharp but 60 Hz — the phone's clearest concession. 3,349 mAh with 20 W means much slower refills than same-price Android phones, and we have not measured runtime.
Alternatives worth comparing
- iPhone 16e — At JOD 385 (observed), it is JOD 74 cheaper. Compare the variants before deciding: 128GB+ versus 128GB+ storage, 4,005 versus 3,349 mAh, and Apple A18 versus Apple A16 Bionic. These are specification differences, not measured performance or battery life. (385 JOD · observed)
- iPhone 16 — JOD 90 more: the A18, the Action button, Camera Control and a bigger battery — the better upgrade if your budget reaches. (549 JOD · observed)

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
A balanced choice for a current-camera, USB-C iPhone under JOD 450. If performance and battery matter more than camera versatility, the 16e costs about the same — and if you can add JOD 72, the iPhone 16 is the more complete phone.

What does that mean in plain words?
Chipset: Apple A16 Bionic — a strong tier (78/100 on specs), on paper suited to most games and demanding apps.
Battery: 3,349 mAh — a relatively small capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 20W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: OLED FHD+, 6.1-inch — an OLED panel (true blacks, higher contrast than LCD).
Camera: 48+12 MP (2 lenses) plus a 12 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
