Overview

The Realme Neo7x is a lower mid-range phone from Realme, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 189 (about $265) — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.

Its main highlights: its big 6,000 mAh battery, and its large 6,000 mAh battery. Its chipset is entry-level (54/100) — for messaging, browsing and video; heavy gaming is not its territory.

Performance-index rank: #48 of 205 Realme phones we list.

Why consider it?

The cheapest phone in this batch: a 6,000mAh battery, 45W charging and a 120Hz AMOLED at ≈ 189. Read the spec notes first, though - the figures circulating in our table do not match realme's own page.

Who it suits

Buyers who want a big battery and a smooth AMOLED for as little as possible, on a diet of browsing, messaging and video.

Who should look elsewhere

Gamers, anyone who needs more than a single rear lens, and anyone expecting the charging speed of realme's pricier models.

Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence

A correction has to come first. Our table lists a Dimensity chip, a 6.72-inch LCD and an 8MP selfie camera. realme's official Chinese product page says something quite different: a Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 running up to 2.3GHz, a 6.67-inch AMOLED at 1080x2400 with a 120Hz refresh rate, and a 16MP front camera. Every one of those gaps is logged on the device file, and what follows is based on what the manufacturer publishes, not on our own row.

That correction cuts both ways. The screen is better than our table suggested - AMOLED rather than LCD, with touch sampling up to 180Hz - and the 6,000mAh typical battery sits in a 7.97mm frame carrying IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings. The processor, though, is humbler than the "Neo" badge implies: the Snapdragon 6 series is entry-level silicon, and charging tops out at 45W rather than 80W.

The camera is the hardest limit. realme lists a single rear sensor: a 50MP OV50D40, f/1.8, on a 1/2.88-inch die. No second module appears in the official specification. We have not tested the phone, so we say nothing about how the pictures look.

Finally, this is a China-market model. Import means the seller carries the warranty and band coverage may differ. At ≈ 189 that is a reasonable trade, as long as you know about it beforehand.

Alternatives worth comparing

  • OnePlus Nord CE5 — OnePlus Nord CE5 at ≈ 189: Dimensity 8350 Apex, a 7,100mAh battery and a 6.77-inch panel. A large step up in both performance and capacity for roughly the same outlay. (189 JOD · estimate)
  • Realme 13 Pro — Realme 13 Pro at ≈ 189: same brand, but two rear lenses (50MP and 8MP) and a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 - with a smaller 5,200mAh battery. (189 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above

Worth a look at ≈ 189 if you want a big battery and an AMOLED panel cheaply and the camera is an afterthought - but if performance or a second lens matters, the same money buys better.

What does that mean in plain words?

Chipset: Dimensity 7300 Energy — entry level (54/100) for messaging, browsing and video; not aimed at heavy gaming.
Battery: 6,000 mAh — a very large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 45W — fast (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: IPS LCD FHD+, 6.67-inch — an LCD panel; lower contrast than OLED, and the norm at this price.
Camera: 50+2 MP (2 lenses) plus a 16 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • 6,000mAh (5,860mAh rated) in a 7.97mm chassis - a large cell without a heavy body.
  • 6.67-inch AMOLED at 1080x2400, 120Hz, with touch sampling up to 180Hz - not the LCD some listings claim.
  • IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings published by realme, with configurations up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.

Cons

  • realme publishes exactly one rear sensor (a 50MP OV50D40 at f/1.8): no ultra-wide, no macro, no zoom.
  • The Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 tops out at 2.3GHz and sits in the budget tier; at roughly the same money the Nord CE5 brings a Dimensity 8350 Apex and a 7,100mAh battery.
  • Charging stops at 45W, well short of the 80W on realme's dearer models, and this is a China-catalogue phone, so it reaches Jordan as an import with shop-level warranty.

Note: Unverified reference estimate (derived from launch pricing and comparable phones) — a starting point for negotiation, not a confirmed price. Specs come from official manufacturer announcements and the locally available variant may differ slightly; the indices are computed from specs and we have not tested the phone ourselves. USD equivalents use the official peg.
Specification ambiguity: Some spec fields on this page (chip, front_cam, rear_cam, screen_in, screen_type) could not be matched to the manufacturer's own page — either the maker does not publish them, publishes a different figure, or the name covers more than one variant. Treat them as unconfirmed. Spotted an error? Let us know.
