Overview
The Redmi A7 Pro is a budget phone from Xiaomi, with the 64GB variant (new) observed from about JOD 98 (about $140) in local classified listings for new units on 30 September 2026; higher storage tiers are our estimate at about JOD 115 (not observed). Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its big 6,000 mAh battery, and its large 6,000 mAh battery. Its chipset is basic (24/100) — calls, WhatsApp and light browsing, as a first or backup phone.
Performance-index rank: #247 of 354 Xiaomi phones we list.
Why consider it?
The Redmi A7 Pro is an entry-level phone built around a 6.9-inch 1600×720 LCD that runs up to 120Hz, an eight-core Unisoc T7250, 4GB of RAM with 64GB or 128GB of storage, and a 6000mAh battery charging at 15W. At 98 the one substantive reason to look at it is that it puts a 6000mAh cell and a big high-refresh screen in the cheapest bracket in our catalogue. Our figure for it is an estimate — we have no recent local listing confirming it, so don't treat the number as settled.
Who it suits
A sensible pick as a second phone, a student's first phone, or a parent's handset used for WhatsApp, calls, YouTube and Maps, where lasting a long day away from a charger matters most.
Who should look elsewhere
Skip it if you photograph a lot, play demanding games, or need 5G — the rear camera is a single 13MP unit with an auxiliary lens, and Xiaomi's page lists LTE bands only.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
The T7250 is a 12nm chip with two A75 cores at 1.8GHz, six A55 cores and a Mali-G57 GPU — an arrangement aimed at browsing, messaging and video rather than gaming, and a spec line cannot show how it will behave once a year of apps has piled up. The rear setup is a 13MP f/2.2 camera plus an auxiliary lens: no true ultrawide, no optical zoom, no OIS, and video capped at 1080p/30, so the hardware defines what you can frame and capture, not how good the resulting shot is. The LCD works out to 254 pixels per inch at 650 nits typical (800 in high-brightness mode); 120Hz makes scrolling smoother, but that resolution across 6.9 inches means less crisp text, and a brightness figure alone won't tell you how it reads in midday sun. The 6000mAh battery pairs with only 15W charging — a wide tank and a narrow tap — and both numbers set theoretical limits, not real screen-on hours or refill minutes. The 4GB of RAM can be "extended" to 8GB, but that borrows from storage and is not the same as physical memory.

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
It's worth it if your ceiling is around 98 and your priorities are a 6000mAh battery and a large screen for light use, accepting a 720p panel, 15W charging and no 5G. Otherwise, if you shoot photos, game, or plan to keep the phone three years, the small step up in price to a stronger chip with 6–8GB of RAM is worth waiting for.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 6,000 mAh — a very large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 15W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: HD+, 6.9-inch, 120Hz — the panel technology (OLED or LCD) is not recorded for this device, so we make no claim about its contrast.
Camera: 13 MP (1 lens) plus a 8 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- A 6000mAh battery alongside a 6.9-inch screen running up to 120Hz at the bottom of the price range
- 3.5mm headphone jack and a dedicated microSD slot next to two SIM slots, plus a side fingerprint sensor
- Ships on Xiaomi HyperOS 3, with a charger and case in the box per Xiaomi's own page
Cons
- Only 4GB of RAM, and the base model has 64GB; moving to 128GB raises the price to ≈ 115
- No 5G, a single 13MP rear camera with an auxiliary lens (no ultrawide, no OIS), and video limited to 1080p/30
- An HD+ panel stretched over 6.9 inches and 15W charging — and our price for it is an estimate with no recent local listing behind it
Where to buy it in Jordan
The JOD 98 figure above is a representative new-unit price from listings observed on 30 September 2026 (local classified listings for new units) — not necessarily the lowest in Jordan, not a launch MSRP and not a specific seller's offer. We do not track stock continuously, so we cannot say which shops have the Redmi A7 Pro today; asking prices differ between sellers, so compare more than one offer.
