The table uses published specs and the price status documented on each phone page (observed = from dated OpenSooq listings for new units, estimate = unverified). We have not tested either phone — a higher camera or battery number does not necessarily mean a better result.

Who is the OnePlus 12 for, and who is the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra for?
Price: about the same (JOD 339) — estimate/estimate.
Chipset: Snapdragon 8 Gen3 vs Dimensity 9400+ — practically the same tier on our index (88 and 91/100, derived from the chipset class, not from testing).
Display: OnePlus 12: LTPO AMOLED 2K, 120 Hz; OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra: AMOLED 1.5K, 165 Hz. Compare panel type and refresh rate for reading and scrolling; we have no measured brightness or colour results here.
Battery: the OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra has 1,300 mAh more capacity. Capacity is not measured endurance — display, chipset and usage change the outcome, and we have not measured either phone.
Camera: OnePlus 12 50+64+48 MP (3 lenses) vs OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra 50+8 MP (2 lenses). The numbers describe the setup (zoom/wide), not image quality — sensor and processing matter more, and we have not tested them.
Who is it for? Same price (JOD 339) and a similar chipset tier — the decision comes down to rows in the table: display, battery capacity, camera setup and platform.
We have not tested either phone — this take is built from published specs and the price status documented on each phone page.
