Overview
The OnePlus Ace 5 Ultra is a mid-range phone from OnePlus, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 339 (about $480), up to about JOD 409 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its big 6,700 mAh battery, and ultra-fast 100W charging. Its chipset sits in the top tier (91/100 on our spec-based index) — the class usually chosen for heavy gaming, video editing and intensive use.
Performance-index rank: #5 of 62 OnePlus phones we list.
Why consider it?
Flagship silicon at mid-range money: a 3nm Dimensity 9400+, a dual-cell battery rated 6700mAh typical, 100W wired charging and a 6.83-inch flat panel that runs up to 144Hz, from ≈ 339. One large catch is attached to all of it - OnePlus sells this model in China only, and its official page exists nowhere else.
Who it suits
Buyers chasing the most raw performance per dinar - heavy gaming, long sessions - who are comfortable importing and do not depend on a local dealer warranty.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who shoots a lot and wants a telephoto lens, or who needs local warranty cover and guaranteed band support on their own operator.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
Start with the fact that decides everything else: the Ace 5 Ultra is a China-market phone. Its only official page lives on OnePlus's Chinese site, and the same product address on the global site and on OnePlus Jordan returns a missing page. In practice that means a private import, no dealer warranty, and the Chinese ColorOS 15 build that the spec page itself names.
The hardware, taken on its own, is genuinely strong. OnePlus publishes a 3nm Dimensity 9400+ with eight cores up to 3.73GHz and Immortalis G925 MC12 graphics, LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage in configurations from 12+256 up to 16GB with 1TB. The battery is a dual-cell design rated 6700mAh typical, charging is 100W wired, and the display is a flat 6.83-inch FHD+ panel at 2800x1272 and 450 PPI.
Three of those figures disagree with what our sheet used to carry: the panel is 6.83 inches rather than 6.78, the refresh ceiling is 144Hz rather than 165, and the battery is 6700mAh rather than 6000. We have corrected the entry to match OnePlus.
What matters most to a buyer here is not a headline number but a short list. The published bands are LTE FDD 1/3/4/5/8/18/19/26/28A/66, with Band 7 and Band 20 absent, and 5G covering n1, n3, n8, n28A and n78. Check your operator's frequencies before ordering one.
The camera is the clear weak point: a 50MP main with two-axis OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide, a 16MP selfie camera, and no telephoto. We have not tested this phone, everything above comes from OnePlus's own pages, and our price is an unverified estimate.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Galaxy S25 — At JOD 340 (estimate), it is JOD 1 more expensive. Compare the variants before deciding: 128GB+ versus 256GB+ storage, 4,000 versus 6,700 mAh, and Snapdragon 8 Elite versus Dimensity 9400+. These are specification differences, not measured performance or battery life. (340 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›
- OnePlus 12 — Same brand, similar money (≈ 339), but the OnePlus 12 is a model that ships outside China, which makes it an easier purchase with clearer support. It brings a 50+64+48 triple camera with real zoom, a 6.82-inch screen and a 5400mAh battery, against an older-generation Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 and a 120Hz refresh ceiling. Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
If raw speed inside ≈ 339 to ≈ 409 is the goal and importing does not bother you, very little in this bracket matches the spec sheet. The honest limit is what you give up for it: a two-lens camera with no zoom, a band list missing frequencies used widely outside China, and no local warranty standing behind the phone.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 6,700 mAh — a very large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 100W — among the fastest around (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: AMOLED 1.5K, 6.83-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 50+8 MP (2 lenses) plus a 16 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ on 3nm, eight cores (4 ultra + 4 big) peaking at 3.73GHz with Immortalis G925 MC12 graphics - top-tier hardware at ≈ 339
- Dual-cell pack rated 6700mAh typical (6600mAh rated) with 100W wired charging, both figures printed by OnePlus
- 6.83-inch flat FHD+ panel at 2800x1272 and 450 PPI, up to 144Hz, 10-bit colour and a quoted 1400-nit peak brightness
Cons
- A China-market release: this model's address on OnePlus's global site and on OnePlus Jordan both return a missing page, so it is an import - no dealer warranty, and the Chinese ColorOS 15 build
- The published band table lists LTE FDD 1/3/4/5/8/18/19/26/28A/66, with no Band 7 and no Band 20, and VoLTE support is credited to Chinese carriers only
- Two rear lenses only - a 50MP f/1.8 main and an 8MP f/2.2 112-degree ultra-wide - with no optical zoom at all, and IP65 protection rather than full immersion
