Overview

The Honor 600 is a mid-range phone from Honor, with the 256GB variant (new) observed from about JOD 315 (about $445) in local classified listings for new units on 30 September 2026. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.

Its main highlights: its big 7,000 mAh battery, and ultra-fast 80W charging. Its chipset is mid-tier (66/100 on our spec-based index) — the usual class for social media, video, photos and light games.

Performance-index rank: #48 of 234 Honor phones we list.

Why consider it?

The Honor 600 is an upper-midrange phone built on the new Snapdragon 7 platform, with a 6.57-inch 1.5K AMOLED at 120Hz and a 7000mAh battery behind 80W wired charging. The one genuine reason to look at it around 315 is the pairing Honor chose: a battery that size alongside a 200MP main camera on a 1/1.4-inch sensor with OIS, which is not a common combination at this level.

Who it suits

Made for someone who shoots a lot in dim light and needs a full day away from a charger — a field worker or a student out of the house from morning to night.

Who should look elsewhere

Skip it if guaranteed long-term software matters to you, because Honor's product page states no number of Android upgrades and no security-update window.

Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence

The new Snapdragon 7 chip places this in comfortable everyday territory for apps and mid-tier gaming, but a chip name says nothing about how a 7.8mm body sheds heat over a long session. Honor's own page lists three rear lenses rather than two — a 200MP main with a 1/1.4-inch sensor and OIS, a 50MP portrait camera, and a 12MP 112° ultra-wide — and while OIS plus that sensor size is the hardware that makes steadier low-light shots possible, the picture you actually get comes from processing, which no spec line exposes. The display runs 120Hz at 458 PPI with a claimed 8000-nit HDR peak, a figure measured on a small highlight area, not the brightness the whole panel holds under Amman sun. The 7000mAh cell is large on paper and refills at 80W, but hours of use depend on the chip, the panel and your habits, and real charge time depends on the adapter and the thermal curve.

Alternatives worth comparing

  • Realme 15 Pro — The Realme 15 Pro at ≈ 305, ≈ 10 less, brings the same new Snapdragon 7 chip, the same 7000mAh cell and 80W charging, and a 144Hz panel instead of 120Hz, but its 50+50MP rear pair drops both the 200MP sensor and any listed ultra-wide. (305 JOD · estimate)

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above

Worth it if what you want is the 7000mAh battery and the OIS-backed 200MP camera in an IP68/IP69K body and the missing update promise does not bother you.

What does that mean in plain words?

Chipset: Snapdragon 7 Gen4 — mid tier (66/100) for social media, video and light-to-medium games.
Battery: 7,000 mAh — a very large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 80W — among the fastest around (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: AMOLED 1.5K, 6.57-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 200+12 MP (2 lenses) plus a 50 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • 7000mAh battery with 80W wired charging plus 27W reverse charging
  • 200MP main camera on a 1/1.4-inch sensor with optical stabilisation
  • IP68 and IP69K rating in a 190g, 7.8mm body

Cons

  • No published Honor commitment on Android upgrades or security-patch years
  • The ultra-wide is 12MP against a 200MP main, so detail drops sharply when you switch lenses
