Overview
The Infinix Hot 50 Pro+ is a budget phone from Infinix, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 105 (about $150), up to about JOD 125 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its vivid OLED display, and its large 5,000 mAh battery. Its chipset is entry-level (40/100) — for messaging, browsing and video; heavy gaming is not its territory.
Performance-index rank: #28 of 152 Infinix phones we list.
Why consider it?
6.8mm thick, 162g, a curved AMOLED behind Corning Gorilla Glass and 1300 nits of peak brightness — that is not normal hardware for a ≈ 105 JD phone. What you pay for it is the Helio G100, which is the ceiling here and does not move.
Who it suits
Someone who carries their phone all day and values how it feels and looks, and whose usage is messaging, social apps and video rather than heavy workloads.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who wants 5G or plays demanding games at high settings — this is a 4G-only phone with UFS 2.2 rather than UFS 3 storage.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
Infinix designed this phone around its body: 164.10 x 74.43 x 6.8mm at 162g, officially marketed as the world's slimmest 3D-curved design. The panel is a 6.78-inch LTPS AMOLED at FHD+ (1080x2436) filling 93.8% of the front, switching between 60 and 120Hz.
The brightness figures deserve careful reading: 550 nits typical, 1300 nits peak. The typical number is what you live with most of the time; the peak shows up on specific content. Infinix also lists 2160Hz PWM dimming, TUV low-blue-light certification and an always-on display.
The Helio G100 is a 6nm part with Mali-G57 graphics, paired with 8GB of RAM (expandable by another 8GB virtually) and 128GB or 256GB of UFS 2.2 storage. That arrangement is enough for everyday use, but it was not built for heavy gaming.
On cameras, only one sensor really works for you: 50MP at f/1.6 with autofocus, next to a 2MP depth sensor. There is no ultra-wide, and no 4K capture at any setting.
Charging is 33W, specified as 10V/3.3A, with reverse charging up to 10W so you can top up earbuds or a watch from the phone itself. The microSD slot, good for up to 1TB, sits alongside both nano-SIM trays rather than replacing one of them — a practical difference if you shoot a lot of video.
Infinix also cites a TUV certification for "5-year performance fluency". That is a certification the company presents for its own device; read it as a statement of intent rather than something measured in your hand.
The remaining features are practical ones: NFC, FM radio, dual JBL-tuned speakers, IP54 resistance, and XOS 14.5 over Android 14. Wireless connectivity stops at Wi-Fi 802.11ac, so there is no Wi-Fi 6 here.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Galaxy M34 5G — At ≈ 105 JD you get 5G and a 6000mAh battery instead of 5000, but on a smaller 6.5-inch screen in a body far heavier than 162g — a straight trade of endurance for elegance. (105 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›
- Tecno Spark 40 Pro — The closest real rival at ≈ 105 JD: the same Helio G100 family in its Ultimate version, a 6.78-inch panel at 144Hz rather than 120Hz, and a 5200mAh battery — it wins on paper and gives up the slimness. (105 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
If you are buying on looks, screen and how it sits in the hand, and your day is messaging, social and video, ≈ 105 JD buys you a body well above its class. The honest limit: the performance will feel a step behind what the screen implies, and how a 6.8mm phone actually feels to hold is not something a spec sheet settles — we have not tested this one.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 5,000 mAh — a large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 33W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: Curved AMOLED FHD+, 6.78-inch — an OLED panel (true blacks, higher contrast than LCD).
Camera: 50 MP (1 lens) plus a 13 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- A 6.8mm, 162g body carrying a 6.78-inch curved 120Hz AMOLED behind Corning Gorilla Glass, with an in-display fingerprint reader.
- 50MP main camera on a 1/2.8-inch sensor with a wide f/1.6 aperture and autofocus.
- microSD expansion up to 1TB alongside two nano-SIM slots, plus reverse charging at up to 10W.
Cons
- 4G only — Infinix lists 2G, 3G and 4G bands and no 5G band at all.
- The Helio G100 has just two Cortex-A76 cores at 2.2GHz plus six A55s, wired to UFS 2.2 storage and LPDDR4X memory, both a generation behind the tier above.
- Video recording stops at 2K/30fps, and the 13MP selfie camera is fixed focus rather than autofocus.
