Overview

The iPhone 13 Pro is a mid-range phone from Apple, with the 128GB variant (new) observed from about JOD 409 (about $580) in local classified listings for new units on 30 September 2026; higher storage tiers are our estimate at about JOD 459 (not observed). Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.

Its main highlights: its vivid OLED display. Its chipset is mid-tier (70/100 on our spec-based index) — the usual class for social media, video, photos and light games.

Performance-index rank: #22 of 46 Apple phones we list.

Why consider it?

The compact half of the 2021 Pro generation: a 6.1-inch ProMotion screen running up to 120 Hz, an A15 with the five-core GPU, and a 3x telephoto alongside macro photography and ProRes recording. Its currently observed price is 409 JOD.

Who it suits

Someone who wants an iPhone that still works one-handed (146.7 mm, 204 g) and a high-refresh screen at the same time. It also suits video shooters who want ProRes up to 4K30 or macro shots from the ultra-wide.

Who should look elsewhere

Anyone buying the 128 GB version who intends to shoot ProRes — Apple caps that capacity at 1080p30. Nor anyone who needs a USB-C port for their daily accessories.

Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence

What changed in this model comes down to three things: refresh rate, reach and macro. The display runs an adaptive refresh rate up to 120 Hz, which shows up both in scrolling smoothness and in the system's ability to drop the rate in front of a static image instead of burning power. The rest of its numbers: 2532 × 1170 at 460 ppi, 1000 nits typical and 1200 nits for HDR.

The rear camera is a 12 MP trio: an f/2.8 telephoto with 3x optical zoom in and a 6x optical range, an f/1.5 wide with sensor-shift stabilisation and 100% Focus Pixels, and an f/1.8 ultra-wide with a 120-degree field of view that handles macro. Add the LiDAR Scanner, Cinematic mode at 1080p30, ProRes up to 4K30 above 128 GB, and a sapphire crystal lens cover.

The body measures 146.7 × 71.5 × 7.65 mm at 204 g with IP68 to 6 m for 30 minutes, and capacities run from 128 GB to 1 TB. Apple lists the model as compatible with iOS 26, so its software life is still running.

One thing to weigh at purchase: the 409 JOD figure is an observed price for the 256 GB version, and the capacities of this model are priced far apart. Storage is not a footnote in this decision — it is roughly half of it.

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above

Worth 409 JOD if you want 120 Hz and a 3x telephoto in a small body, and you will pay up for the larger capacity if video matters to you. If raw performance per dinar is the goal, a 2025 Android clearly moves ahead. All of the above is read off a spec sheet: how warm it runs while recording ProRes, and how its photos look today, are things we have not tested.

What does that mean in plain words?

Chipset: Apple A15 Bionic — mid tier (70/100) for social media, video and light-to-medium games.
Battery: 3,095 mAh — a relatively small capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 25W — standard (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: OLED FHD+, 6.1-inch — an OLED panel (true blacks, higher contrast than LCD).
Camera: 12+12+12 MP (3 lenses) plus a 12 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • A Super Retina XDR panel with ProMotion and adaptive refresh up to 120 Hz, 2532 × 1170 at 460 ppi, and 1000 nits typical brightness.
  • A 3x telephoto giving a 6x optical zoom range, sensor-shift stabilisation on the f/1.5 wide, macro photography from the f/1.8 ultra-wide, and Photographic Styles.
  • Apple's official figure of 22 hours of video playback, on the fuller A15: six CPU cores, five GPU cores and a 16-core Neural Engine.

Cons

  • ProRes on the 128 GB model is limited to 1080p at 30 fps, which makes the gap between 409 and ≈ 459 JOD a working decision rather than a luxury if you shoot video.
  • A Lightning port, and no power adapter in the box — Apple lists only a USB-C to Lightning cable.
  • Apple publishes neither a mAh battery capacity nor a RAM figure for this model, so any such number you read about it comes from a third party, not the manufacturer.
