Overview

The Oppo Find N3 is an upper mid-range phone from Oppo, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 599 (about $845), up to about JOD 699 for higher storage — also an estimate — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.

Its main highlights: its vivid OLED display, and its fast 67W charging. Its chipset is in the strong tier (82/100 on our spec-based index) — on paper a fit for heavy daily use and most games.

Performance-index rank: #11 of 262 Oppo phones we list.

Why consider it?

A book-style foldable with a 7.82-inch inner screen and a 6.31-inch cover screen, on Snapdragon 8 Gen2, with a genuine 3x optical telephoto.

Who it suits

People who want a tablet-sized screen that folds away, and a cover screen big enough to use on its own all day.

Who should look elsewhere

Anyone chasing top-end charging speed, or who insists on a published water and dust rating.

Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence

We read Oppo's global Find N3 sheet and cross-checked it against the Chinese one, and saying so matters: the same hardware is sold in some markets as the OnePlus Open, which makes it easy to end up quoting the wrong table. The inner display is 7.82 inches at 2440×2268, 426 ppi, dropping to 1 Hz and rising to 120. The cover display is 6.31 inches at 2484×1116 and 431 ppi, also 120 Hz — a full phone screen rather than a glance panel. Oppo publishes 600 nits typical and 1400 nits in high-brightness mode.

The chip is a Snapdragon 8 Gen2 with an Adreno 740 clocked at 680 MHz, alongside LPDDR5x and UFS 4.0. Three rear cameras carry clearly separated roles: a 48 MP main at f/1.7 and 24 mm with OIS; a 64 MP telephoto at f/2.6 and 70 mm, 3x optical and also stabilised; and a 48 MP ultra-wide at f/2.2 covering 114 degrees, with autofocus and 3.5 cm macro. The global table adds a fourth line, a 16 MP 6x telephoto, and labels it in-sensor zoom rather than a separate lens — the Chinese sheet calls the same thing 6x optical-quality zoom. Selfies come from two cameras: 20 MP inside, 32 MP on the cover.

Battery is 4805 mAh typical with 67 W charging, the tray takes a Nano-SIM plus an eSIM, and the software is ColorOS 13.2 with Bluetooth 5.3 and LE Audio. The inner screen uses ultra-thin UTG glass, the cover a nanocrystal pane in Oppo's wording. Our own figure for it runs from ≈ 599 to ≈ 699.

Alternatives worth comparing

  • OnePlus Open — The same hardware under a different badge, and the same ≈ 599 in our record: battery, screens and cameras all match, so the decision comes down to interface and update track rather than components. (599 JOD · estimate)
  • Honor Magic Vs3 — Another book-style foldable at ≈ 599, with a slightly larger 7.92-inch inner screen and a 5000 mAh battery — though our record lists its rear sensors as 50, 40 and 8 MP, a less even set than the Find N3's trio. (599 JOD · estimate)

Strengths and trade-offs in detail ›

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above

If the cover screen is the point — a full phone-sized display rather than a notification window — then moving between 6.31 and 7.82 inches is the strongest thing ≈ 599 buys here. If you handle your phone carelessly and want something in writing about water and dust, Oppo's table for this model never offers it.

What does that mean in plain words?

Chipset: Snapdragon 8 Gen2 — a strong tier (82/100 on specs), on paper suited to most games and demanding apps.
Battery: 4,805 mAh — a large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 67W — among the fastest around (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: Foldable AMOLED, 7.82-inch — an OLED panel (true blacks, higher contrast than LCD).
Camera: 48+64+48 MP (3 lenses) plus a 20 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • Two 120 Hz screens: 7.82 inches at 2440×2268 and 426 ppi inside, 6.31 inches at 2484×1116 and 431 ppi outside.
  • Snapdragon 8 Gen2 with an Adreno 740 at 680 MHz, LPDDR5x memory and UFS 4.0 storage.
  • Three real rear cameras with distinct jobs, two of them optically stabilised, plus separate selfie cameras for each screen.

Cons

  • 67 W charging on a 4805 mAh battery, well short of what the rest of the Find line offers.
  • The official spec table carries no IP rating for water or dust resistance.
  • Oppo's published configurations start at 512 GB, so there is no cheaper capacity to drop down to.
