Overview
The Redmi Turbo 4 is a mid-range phone from Xiaomi, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 259 (about $365) — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.
Its main highlights: its big 6,550 mAh battery, and ultra-fast 90W charging. Its chipset is in the strong tier (79/100 on our spec-based index) — on paper a fit for heavy daily use and most games.
Performance-index rank: #43 of 354 Xiaomi phones we list.
Why consider it?
The Redmi Turbo 4 is a China-market phone, and its official spec table stacks up things that rarely share a price tag near ≈ 259 JOD: a Dimensity 8400-Ultra whose eight cores are all big ones, a 6550 mAh battery, 90 W wired charging, a 1.5K 120 Hz screen and an IP68 rating.
Who it suits
People who want sustained gaming performance and long battery life in the same device, and who charge in short bursts — the 90 W adapter is listed in the box. It also suits buyers who are comfortable living with a Chinese HyperOS build on an imported handset.
Who should look elsewhere
Anyone who wants optical zoom or a complete camera system: there is no telephoto lens on this phone. It is also wrong for anyone who needs a local warranty and a global software build, since Xiaomi does not list this model in any catalogue outside China.
Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence
Xiaomi's Chinese spec page gives the Turbo 4 a Dimensity 8400-Ultra on TSMC's 4 nm process, with eight cores that are all performance cores running up to 3.25 GHz, a Mali-G720 GPU and an NPU 880 block. The absence of conventional little cores is what separates the 8400 tier from ordinary upper-mid silicon.
The display is 6.67 inches at 2712 x 1220 — 1.5K rather than FHD+ — with refresh up to 120 Hz and touch sampling up to 480 Hz, and Xiaomi adds a 2560 Hz instantaneous rate in selected games. It lists 1920 Hz PWM dimming, 12-bit colour, DCI-P3 coverage, an under-display optical fingerprint reader and a 3200-nit local peak. The panel technology itself is never named in the table.
The battery is 6550 mAh typical, 6410 mAh minimum, charging at 90 W over a reversible Type-C port, with the 90 W adapter in the box contents. The body is glass, 8.06 mm thick and 203.5 g.
For cameras there are two rear lenses: a 50 MP main using the Sony LYT-600 at f/1.5 on a 1/1.95-inch sensor with OIS, and an 8 MP ultra-wide. The front camera is a 20 MP OV20B. Rear video tops out at 4K 24/30/60 fps.
The rest of the kit: IP68 under stated lab conditions (2 m for 30 minutes), stereo speakers, an IR blaster, an X-axis linear vibration motor, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.4. The band list is aimed at Chinese carriers, so checking it against your own operator is a necessary step before importing.
Alternatives worth comparing
- Poco F6 — Listed at ≈ 259 JOD with the same spec index of 79, but built around a Snapdragon 8s Gen3 and a 5000 mAh battery. The real gap between the two is endurance, not raw speed. (259 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›
- Redmi K60 Ultra — A device about a year and a half older at ≈ 259 JOD, with a Dimensity 9200+, a 144 Hz panel and three rear cameras instead of two — but a 5000 mAh battery. A clear trade: a third lens and faster refresh in exchange for shorter time between charges. (259 JOD · estimate)

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above
Worth ≈ 259 JOD if performance and endurance are the reason you are buying and you accept an imported handset on Chinese software with no official service channel. If photography is part of the decision, the limit is printed in Xiaomi's own table: two rear lenses and no optical zoom.

What does that mean in plain words?
Battery: 6,550 mAh — a very large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 90W — among the fastest around (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: AMOLED 1.5K, 6.67-inch — above-FHD resolution; OLED means true blacks and high contrast.
Camera: 50+2 MP (2 lenses) plus a 20 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.
Pros & cons
Pros
- A Dimensity 8400-Ultra built on TSMC 4 nm with eight big cores up to 3.25 GHz and a Mali-G720 GPU, paired with LPDDR5X memory and UFS 4.0 storage at ≈ 259 JOD.
- A 6550 mAh (typical) battery with 90 W wired charging, and Xiaomi's own box-contents list includes the 90 W adapter.
- A 6.67-inch, 2712 x 1220 screen running up to 120 Hz with 480 Hz touch sampling, 1920 Hz PWM dimming, 12-bit colour depth and an IP68 rating under stated lab conditions.
Cons
- The rear camera is two lenses only — a 50 MP main and an 8 MP ultra-wide — with no optical zoom of any kind.
- This is a China-market device end to end: the only Xiaomi page for it is on the Chinese store, its band list is tuned to Chinese operators, and the software is the Chinese build of HyperOS 2.
- At 203.5 g and 8.06 mm it is heavy, which is the direct cost of a cell this large and is noticeable in one-handed use.
