Overview

The Vivo iQOO Z10x is a lower mid-range phone from Vivo, with an unverified reference price of about JOD 135 (about $190) — an estimate, not a confirmed market price. Below is its full spec sheet with a plain-language breakdown, pros and cons, and how it compares to its rivals. We have not tested this phone ourselves; everything here is derived from published specifications.

Its main highlights: its big 6,500 mAh battery, and its large 6,500 mAh battery. Its chipset is entry-level (51/100) — for messaging, browsing and video; heavy gaming is not its territory.

Performance-index rank: #114 of 282 Vivo phones we list.

Why consider it?

It spends its budget on endurance and toughness rather than on show: 6500mAh, 44W charging, an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H testing, around ≈ 135.

Who it suits

Someone who needs a phone to clear a full working day away from a socket, who works around dust and rain, and for whom a big smooth screen is enough.

Who should look elsewhere

Anyone who photographs seriously, anyone set on an AMOLED panel, and anyone unwilling to buy a model whose only official pages are Indian.

Performance, camera, display and battery — and the limits of the evidence

Start with the chip name, because ours is wrong: our record says 'Dimensity 7300 Ultimate', while both of iQOO's pages call it a MediaTek Dimensity 7300 on a 4nm TSMC process with a 2.5GHz peak clock, with no suffix anywhere. iQOO also publishes an AnTuTu score of 728,714 from an internal test on the 8+256 edition — the manufacturer's own figure, not an independent measurement.

The rest of the sheet is consistent: 6500mAh with 44W charging, a claimed 40 minutes from 1% to 50%, and runtime figures iQOO attributes to internal testing — 11 hours of gaming, 40 hours of video, 74 hours of music. The display is a 6.72-inch LCD at 2408×1080 running at 120Hz with 1050 nits in high-brightness mode.

The body is the surprise in this bracket: 8.09mm and 204g with an IP64 rating and MIL-STD-810H testing, UFS 3.1 storage, a side-mounted fingerprint reader, Wi-Fi 6 and Funtouch OS 15 on Android 15.

The cost cutting landed on the camera: a 50MP f/1.8 main, a 2MP depth lens that takes no picture of its own, and an 8MP f/2.05 selfie camera.

One correction to our own record: we date this phone to March 2025, but the Z10 series was announced on 11 April 2025 and Z10x sales opened in India on 22 April, which makes the handset about a month younger on paper than our entry implies.

Alternatives worth comparing

  • Galaxy M35 5G — At the same money (≈ 135) you step down to 6000mAh and up to a Super AMOLED panel at 120Hz, and more importantly Samsung's page commits to four OS upgrades and five years of security updates — a published commitment iQOO makes nowhere on this model. (135 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›
  • Galaxy S21 — The Galaxy S21 costs the same (≈ 135): an Exynos 2100 our index scores 66 against 51, and three rear cameras instead of one working lens; you pay for that with a 4000mAh battery, a 6.2-inch screen and a 2021 launch. (135 JOD · estimate) full comparison ›

Verdict — conditional on your needs and the documented price above

If your goal is the longest battery and the toughest body for the least money, the Z10x gets you there around ≈ 135; the limit no software update can move is an LCD panel and a single working rear lens, on a handset whose only official pages are Indian.

What does that mean in plain words?

Chipset: Dimensity 7300 Ultimate — entry level (51/100) for messaging, browsing and video; not aimed at heavy gaming.
Battery: 6,500 mAh — a very large capacity by market standards. Capacity is an indicator, not a measurement: real endurance depends on the display, chipset and your usage, and we have not measured it.
Charging: 44W — fast (rated charging power; actual charge time varies with the charger and temperature).
Display: IPS LCD FHD+, 6.72-inch — an LCD panel; lower contrast than OLED, and the norm at this price.
Camera: 50+2 MP (2 lenses) plus a 8 MP front camera. Megapixels and lens count describe the setup, not image quality — real results depend on the sensor and processing, which we have not tested.

Pros & cons

Pros

  • A 6500mAh typical-capacity battery with 44W FlashCharge; iQOO publishes a claim of 80% capacity retained after 1500 charge cycles.
  • A 6.72-inch 2408×1080 panel at 120Hz with 1050 nits in high-brightness mode and TUV Rheinland eye-comfort certification.
  • An IP64 rating plus MIL-STD-810H testing in an 8.09mm body, with UFS 3.1 storage rather than eMMC.

Cons

  • iQOO's own table lists the panel type as LCD, so none of the black-level and contrast gains that OLED phones at this level bring.
  • One useful lens on the back: a 50MP f/1.8 main with a 2MP depth helper, and an 8MP selfie camera — there is no ultrawide.
  • Every official page for this model belongs to iQOO India, with no regional page for the same handset, so warranty and updates follow whichever import channel sold it.
